Marry You?! Oh God! [SungJoy]

Chapter #4: The Wedding

So here they are now. In front of the altar, facing one another going to exchange their vows while all eyes are on them. For Sooyoung, never once in her life that she will get married this fast. She could see her father is tearing up from the corner of her eyes. All her stepmothers were there too. The wedding was not big, in fact, they only invited their family, colleagues and best friends.

Flashback +/- 3 months ago

That night Sooyoung and Sungjae finally agreed on the deal. Win-win solutions for them. So they walked back to Sooyoung's father house and told their parents they'll get married which of course made their parents jump in joy.  Both of them told their parents that they want to make the wedding as simple as they can and their parents agreed on it. They immediately scheduled the wedding date that night too. April 30, 2020.
Sooyoung's close friends wendy, seulgi even her Irene unnie congratulates her. The same thing also happened to Sungjae. His circle congratulates him on his marriage, he gets teased by his hyungs. Peniel warned him to not hurt his sister or else he will finish Sungjae, half-joking half-serious which made Sungjae kind of afraid because that's the first time he saw Peniel like that.
Yeri helped them the most of the time on what kind of suits and dresses they should wear for their pre-wedding, she even designed a dress for Sooyoung to wear for the photoshoot. Yeri was also the one who was eager to help Sooyoung to choose her wedding dress, even though Sooyoung told her that she should just wear a simple dress. Yeri forced her to pick a backless wedding dress. "Unnie you have very pretty skin and it's your wedding day! It's only once in a lifetime". Sooyoung just nodded there is no way to stop Yeri.

That was the busiest months for both Sooyoung and Sungjae. Wedding preparation and all. But they need to bear with it. Everything will go back to normal.

It's time for them to exchange their wedding vows. The groom is the first one to say it as the Priest told him to repeat all the words.

"I, Yook Sungjae, take you, Park Sooyoung, to be my wife. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love and honour you all the days of my life. And with this ring, I thee wed"
Sungjae took the ring from the ring bearer to put it on Sooyoung's ring finger, But Sooyoung was not moving she was blank that Sungjae needs to nudge her foot a little to make her soul back to her body. "Oh.." She looked at him then offered her hand for him to take. He took her hand and slipped the platinum wedding band decorated with three brilliant diamonds on her ring finger. He smiled at her.

"Now Park Sooyoung repeat after me" the priest said, telling Sooyoung to repeat the vow.

"I, Park Sooyoung, take you, Yook Sungjae, to be my husband. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love and honour you all the days of my life. And with this ring, I thee wed"
She took Sungjae's hand once she finished, slipping the same wedding band on his ring fingers. 

"In the presence of your family and friends, you have joined yourselves in marriage. I declare your marriage is valid and binding and rejoice to recognize you as husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Sooyoung's eyes widen. Wait... kiss? They did not agree about this. What should I do? She could see Sungjae is grinning, he leaned his face closer to her until there's only an inch space left between them. She could feel his hot breath. "Close your eyes wife" he whispered quietly which Sooyoung followed his instruction. Once she closed her eyes Sungjae cupped her cheeks, and kissed only her cheek, near the corner of her lips but to everyone else it looks as if he kissed her on the lips because he covered Sooyoung's face with his hands. He quickly end the kiss, Sooyoung opened her eyes and her face is burning red receiving a laugh for him. Everyone else gave them claps, cheering and congratulating both of them.

Everyone was so happy at the receptions. They once again congratulate the newlywed, giving their blessings and all. Sooyoung and Sungjae tried their best to keep their smiles on their face even though they are already very tired by now, Most of the time Sungjae was the one who talks while Sooyoung just nod her head.

Finally, the party ended at 8 every one sending both Sungjae and Sooyoung off to their new home. Sungjae's parents bought him a condo in Gangnam as a wedding gift. Both of them are already exhausted, no more smile on their face as soon as both of them inside the car. The drive to home was full of silent. Once they've arrived they quickly went to their designed floor. Their new place is on floor 10th. Their new place is full of well-known branded furnish.

Sooyoung plopped down on the couch, Sungjae followed her and sit at the other side. "Gosh that was tiring" She whined, taking off the 10 cm high heels she's been wearing. "But we haven't started our night yet" He chuckled at her, winking his eye to tease her which earning a death glare from her. "You wish!" She gave him a middle finger. "Ouch". 
"I'm taking the master bedroom. You sleep in the other room" She said as she fixed her sitting position. "No way! That's the biggest room! I have lots of stuff I can't even put my working desk there" Sungjae protested. "You are not even working!" Sooyoung snorted at him. "I am a photographer" "I don't care. I'm taking the master bedroom" She said, standing up from the couch and walked off to the master bedroom. "Hey! what about we just share the room!" Sungjae shouts. "Try your luck some other time!" Sooyoung shouts back, slamming the room door and flopped her body on the bed. "Idiot".

Author's note:
I think my brain is kind of working right now since I can write and publish my story often. I think this kinda privilege from working from home. I made a little research on wedding vows and even wedding band too wow at my seriousness for this story.
