Shinx had a rough life. She grew up in a very dangerous town, where murders and crimes are a daily thing. Shinx's parents didn't pay any attention to her, they don't even speak to her. Shinx can only remember one thing they told her. "You were a mistake."
Having enough of being ignored, Shinx ran away from home. She was homeless for almost a year, until she was found by Greninja and Braixen. They offered her a job at the SAO, where she would be provided with everything she needed to live. Shinx agreed and joined, later on she would become one of the best members in the SAO. Members of the SAO tried to be friends with her, but Shinx turned them all away and stayed in solitude. During that time as well, Shinx had joined the WBA and was setting records left and right. But even so, she was still being ignored by most. Shinx was tired of being ignored, and made a goal to get to Pro and be noticed by all. But getting to Pro was easier said than done.
Shinx was grateful for Greninja and Braixen, but noticed some shady things Greninja was doing but decided to ignore it. Shinx stayed in the SAO, but she wasn't happy. In face, she didn't feel any emotion. She felt like something was missing from her. Soon enough, she would get that something when Greninja announced they were getting a new member. This would be Shinx's first and only friend to this day, Pikachu.
Pikachu was able to do the impossible and become friends with Shinx, which was harder said than done as they became friends after Pikachu saved Shinx from a avalanche. Shinx finally found that missing piece from her, a friend. Shinx was quick to learn about Pikachu being in the WBA and being the price of Amber. During a training season, she found out quickly that Pikachu was way stronger than her. She asked him for advice to improve her fighting style and boy did she learn a lot from him.
Shinx was on pace to match Pikachu's record in the National series. But Greninja had forced Shinx to drop out of multiple championships for missions that needed her. Shinx was upset, but agreed to them anyway.
When Pikachu went to the Pro Series, Shinx decided to be his spotter for the events. But it didn't last long when Pikachu disappeared one day. Shinx saw him fighting on T.V at times. She wanted to go find him and figure out why he left, but knew whatever reason it was for Pikachu to leave must be serious.
It was time for Shinx to compete for another National Series championship, but one month before the event she turned 18. The WBA has declared Shinx "Too old" to compete as the set age for the National series was 8-17, forcing Shinx to drop out. This made Shinx worried, the only way she could go Pro was if a past Pro women champion drafted her, not being in this tournament meant she wasn't getting as much attention as the other girls were.
Now reunited with Pikachu, Shinx is now determined to help Pikachu win the tournament and take down Raichu. And hopes that she can be drafted to Pro afterwards, so the world will know who she is.
