Dom and I watched Campos silently talking to the priest in the church waiting for the right moment to confront him, as soon as the priest left Campos sat on his knees praying, Dom nodded at me and we both approached him.

"You ain't forgiven" Dom stated pointing the shotgun at him.

He looked at both of us, "You want to arrest me, in here?"

I put the gun down watching the entrance of the church, "No we're beyond that"

Dom shook his head, "You can't buy your way out of this one"

Campos was scared but he tried not to let it show he turned to me, "You and me, we're not so different you're no hero, neither are you" He directed the last words to Dom.

I raised my eyebrows at him, "We're nothing alike Campos" I said stepping back.

Dom cocked his shotgun getting ready to shoot, his finger hovering on the trigger, "That's right and that's why you're going back across the border"

I got behind Campos cuffing him, looking at Dom, "But Fenix is mine" He said.

I smirked slightly, "All yours"

I took Campos with me in the car getting out of Mexico through the tunnels, "You'll make it a couple of miles out if you're lucky" He mused.

With Dom right behind me, we go as fast as we can weaving between the streets to get out without a hassle but we know to expect trouble.

As we make it to the desert, Campos started laughing, "You know where you're going? You wanna borrow my GPS?"

I didn't even turn to him concentrating on the road ahead, "Where are your boys at? Are they going to show up or what? Thought they were the best drivers out there" I taunted him.

But as the last word left my mouth I heard gunshots, looking in the rearview mirror I saw cars swarming around us.

"Careful what you ask for"

They started to get more aggressive shooting at us as I swerved, "Right behind you" Dom warned me through the radio I shifted the gears going faster as Dom rammed him.

We were faster than the cars following gaining on them a bit, "Dom, head to the tunnel. Let's use the tunnel"

One of the cars rammed into me, I grunted as I swerved away from it Dom had shot the car's tires following me, "Get out of here, Hailey" He ordered as we neared the tunnels.

"You sure you know where the tunnels are? You sure?" Campos taunted.

I stared at the road ahead, "Yeah I'd hold on, This might hurt" I stated as I shifted the gears going faster breaking through the mountain to the tunnels.

I entered the tunnels going on full speed but looking in the rear mirror Dom wasn't the one behind me but it was actually Fenix.

I went through the foreign tunnels not knowing exactly where the exit exists is as of course I didn't memorize the route the last time I was there.

As I sped through the way, I found that it was blocked, "No, no, no" , swerving to the right at the last moment breaking through another route, I sighed in relief momentarily watching where I'm going.

But Fenix was faster gaining on me, Campos started laughing again I glared at him punching him with my elbow having been fed up with him, I tried to wiggle my way around him but to no avail.

I found an opening swerving my car in front of his till I got in front of him but at the end of the tunnel, he hit me making my car swerve in the air out of the tunnel, my car rolled and rolled until it was upside down my head was hit a couple of times before it all went black.

I woke up breathing heavily kicking the car's door with my feet getting on both of my knees and hands I wasn't able to get up, Fenix punched me in my already bleeding head making me fall flat on the ground he punched me in the guts rolling me to the side.

He cocked his gun pointing it at my face getting ready to shoot, I closed my eyes waiting to hear the shot but instead, I heard the sound of a car approaching us fast, Fenix turned to the car which obviously had Dom in it pointing his gun at Dom but he didn't slow down.

Fenix was going to run but I held into his leg with all my might so he won't escape, Dom rammed his car into him as I fell to the ground in pain.

I held my bleeding stomach, grunting and breathing heavily, Dom ran to me helping me lean on the car, "Let me see that" He said moving my hand away to inspect the wound.

"Yeah just keep the pressure there" He instructed me putting his hand in mine in an act of reassurance, "You'll be alright" He promised.

We heard the sound of the police sirens in the distance, "You gotta get out of here" I breathed out.

"I ain't running anymore" He said staring at me.

I nodded as I put my free hand on his cheek, "I love you, Dom" I admitted.

I don't know if it was the adrenaline from being hit or cause I was bleeding out but I know I had to confess to him, never in my life did I think I would say those words that I considered overrated in one point of my life but just saying them made them feel more real than ever.

He stared at me for a moment not saying anything searching my eyes until he engulfed my hand in his, "I love you, too" He confessed putting his forehead on mine.

Pulling away we both stared at each other, I took off the cross necklace putting it in his hands, "Here, Keep it with you"

His eyes were understanding we both understand what the necklace meant to us as he was going to reject, "Hailey...."

I closed my hand on his, "You can give it to me when I see you again" I said as he nodded.

We stared at each other smiling because in a way, it was a promise that this is not going to be the last time we see each other that this is not the end of us.

After a week of the previous events, I sat in court with Mia and Brian by my side while Dom was cuffed and sitting beside his lawyer, "All rise"

The judge entered the court as we all stood up in respect, "Please be seated"

We all sat down again, "Please rise, Mr.Toretto" The judge ordered.

Dom rose at the order of the judge, "I've listened to the testimony and taken into special consideration Agent Campbell's appeal of clemency on behalf of Mr. Toretto, That his actions directly resulted in the apprehension of known drug trafficker Arturo Braga. However, this judiciary finds that one right does not make up for a lifetime worth of wrongs. And as such, l find that l am forced to level the maximum sentence under California law....." The judge stated.

I couldn't watch the whole ordeal disappointed at them for not letting Dom be free, but they're wrong if they think I'll let him rot in prison and as such, I've already formed a plan to get Dom out, With me, Mia and Brian, I smirked as we surrounded the bus setting our plan in motion.
