Huddling up around the computer in the warehouse we were all waiting for Rico and Tego to connect us to the cameras at the precinct, "Got it. We got it." Mia announced as soon as the cameras were connected.

I nodded watching the screen thoughtfully, "Yeah, we're looking at four cameras."

"Yo, that's some high-end shit, too. Marker optics. Hundred-degree field-of-view. Ten seconds oscillation." Hans added.

Brian nodded agreeing, "Yeah, that's a narrow window, man."

Giselle shook her head, "Can't we just tap in and replace the image?" She questioned

"Nah, it's hooked into a digital sync they would know we were in the system the best we can do is peek." Tej answered.

"We're going to need some real fast cars to get through this." Hans shook his head at Roman, "Not just fast. You got a hard right and a hairpin. We're going to need something agile."

"You guys mock up a track." Dom ordered then he turned to me with a smirk, "Hailey, Let's go get some cars." I grinned at him as we both knew what exactly that meant.

"Just like back home" I commented as soon as we got out of the car looking around at the cars and women, Dom came up beside me his hands on my shoulders as we wandered down the place.

A blue Porsche caught my eyes, "Look at that one. All motor, no tuning issues. Think it will do the job?" I said lowering my voice at the question while admiring the car.

"Held the record on the Avenida three years running." Diogo said walking to us he stared from me to Dom, "You got a lot of balls to bring your problems here, Toretto." he turned to me, "You too, Hailey. Who would've thought you of all people could become a cop?" He mused.

I smirked at him, "Fortunately for you I'm not anymore"

"Word on the street is a lot of people are looking for you two. What? You didn't think we'd recognize you?" Diogo questioned amused.

"No, we're kind of counting on it. That little coupe may run the streets around here." Dom said with a smirk playing on his lips he ushered with his fingers making the cars disperse, "but that monster has never seen a set of tail lights" He said ushering to his car.

"Ever. Well, she's about to. Dominic Toretto's ride in my garage. Now that... will be a nice trophy. Let's go, legend. Car for car." He challenged staring at me and Dom

Dom raised his eyebrows, I could feel his excitement like the first time I challenged him which put a smile on my face," Car for car?"

Diogo nodded, "You want it, come and get it."

I turned to Dom smiling, "Do you want to do this? Or do you want me to?"

Dom smiled at me, "I got this" he gave me a peck on the lips before riding his car to race.

Needless to say who won the race as it was of course Dom thus me driving the new car and him his when we reached the warehouse, "Really? Where did you get that from? Papa Smurf?" Roman joked.

"Okay, O'Conner, give it your best shot." Dom said as Brian was the first one to try driving through the track, "How was that one?" He wandered getting out of the car

"Camera caught you." I commented.

He frowned, "What?"

 "Yeah, it still caught you."

"I was milking the hell out of that thing, too." He said walking up the stairs to us

I shook my head turning to Dom, "We're going to need a faster car." 

After the whole team trying on the mock up track and still getting caught on camera, Giselle was the last to try it, "That was real solid work. I think Camera 3 still caught you, though." I said, Giselle raised her eyebrows clearly enjoying the challenge, "Let's do it again."

"That's the piggy bank you ordered." Rico commented staring at the vault that was the exact same copy of Reyes' one

Tej was stunned that the guys were able to get it that easily, "You're kidding me. Where in the hell did you all get one of these?" He wandered.

Han shrugged, "Well, we had a life before you met us."

"All right, I will get to work on the electronic tumbler but there's still another problem. Palm scanner and without Reyes' handprint, Houdini himself couldn't open this bitch."

"How do you know it's Reyes' handprint?" Rico asked.

"You got $100 million in a safe. You going to put somebody else's handprint on it?" Tej answered as Rico and Tego started bickering with each other making all of us crack a smile.

"How are we supposed to get Reyes' handprint?" Roman questioned breaking the two bickering men up.

I was standing beside Dom when he answered, "Han. You're up."

"Let's go. I will drive." Giselle said following Han which made me raise my eybrows grinning as me and Dom stared at each other with a knowing look.

Sitting on the chair I looked at Dom as he worked on the car lost in my own thoughts about the job we were pulling about the stakes that were high, about Luke who I knew won't give up on arresting us especially me but when I looked at Dom I knew it was worth it and maybe for the first time in my life I would stop running and settle down with the man I'm in love with.

"Oh, no. Guys, guys. Guys, we have a problem." Mia shouted snapping me out of my thoughts I looked at Dom frowning before Brian continued, "The whole team just got burnt. Now we're all wanted."

All of us were around Mia and Brian in seconds looking at the screen, "How did this happen?" Giselle wondered.

"US Diplomatic Security Service issued the warrants. Agent L. Hobbs." Mia explained

"I'm searching him up" Mia said working on the laptop.

I sighed knowing that this moment would come up sooner or later, "No need" I affirmed stopping her from searching, "Hobbs is the leader of the elite task force for the DSS. When the FBI wants to find somebody, that's who they call. Because he never misses his mark. He's damn good at busting the bad guys" I explained.

Brian frowned turning to me, "You seem to know a lot about him"

"Let's just say we worked closely a couple of years ago" I turned to Dom, "Dom, we got to move up our timeline." 

"Yeah, but how? This thing's already been difficult without Wyatt Earp on our asses. If anything, we need more room to breathe." Roman stated.

 "Roman's right. Think we need to get some fresh air." Dom spoke staring at us.
