THIRD PERSON

The last bell finally rang, you know what that means. Yes, it means school's over, obviously.. The girls were walking out of the school gates when Ryujin spotted Beomgyu getting, somewhat, harassed by fangirls.

Ryujin nudged Yeji, who was beside her at the moment. "Should i help?" she asked. To her surprise, Yeji told her no. "What, why?" Yeji shook her head, "Ryu-ah, he's probably hurt inside because he knows you hate him."

"Who said i hate him?"

Yeji stopped in her tracks, "Even if you don't, he assumes you do. So, don't you think if you help him, it will make him more hopeful?" she asks. The other girls stopped too, but thankfully, they were talking with each other and not minding the two.

"Girls, i forgot something in class. You can go first, I'll take Ryujin with me." she told the three girls. "Ah~ Okay. Meet us at the cafe as usual." Lia she said before they part ways.

Yeji dragged Ryujin to the rooftop with her. "Why would he think that?" Ryujin asked, breaking the creeping silence around them after she leaned against the railing.

"Maybe because of how cold you were towards him." Yeji shrugged. Ryujin rolled her eyes, "Alright, i had a reason to be cold that time." she said. Yeji chuckled then turned her body towards Ryujin, "And what is that reason?" she raised an eyebrow.

Ryujin sighed deeply, "Listen, you-"

"I still have feelings for him." she looked down to the floor that was far below them. Yeji stopped and smiled softly. Ryujin fixed her gaze on Beomgyu, who was still trying to break free from the girls. "Then, why?" Yeji questioned the black haired girl.

Ryujin inhales deeply, feeling refreshed by the cold breeze. "Even if i do end up with him.." she turns her head to Yeji.

"We'll have to break apart, anyway." she said.

Yeji looked at her feet as her smile fades away after hearing the girl's words. "If we debut, we'll only be heartbroken to leave and choose our careers over each other." she spoke. Yeji inhales before nodding, a sign of understanding Ryujin.

"I admit that i like him, i do. But, it's just complicated, you know?" she sniffed. Yeji looks up only to see Ryujin tearing up, "Are you crying?" she asked. Ryujin smiled, "Kind of?" she answered honestly.

Yeji opened her arms, "Come here." she said with a warm smile on her face.

"Thank you, really. But, i can't accept these." Beomgyu politely declined and walks away.

"I insist, please take them." one girl blocked his path, shoving the gift in his arms. "I really am sorry, i can't." he pushed the gift back into her arms. "Beomgyu, please.." another girl that almost gave up, tagged along with the first girl.

"Get away, you know he only dates girls who are wealthy enough to be his. So, walk away before i make you." the first girl pushed the girl's shoulder.

"Excuse me, I'm pretty sure he likes girls who likes him the way he is. Go away." she fought back.

Beomgyu interrupted, "Actually, i do." he smiled. The girls stop, the first girl looks sad and defeated while the other was proud and was about to hug him. "Not just yet. I'm not finished." he smirked.

"I like a girl who loves me the way i am, someone who's charming and innocent, she needs to be caring, loving, shy, sometimes a bit like a man and she needs to be kind to others." he said, thinking of the girl he likes, no, loves.

The girls were speechless and they stood still, "Most importantly, she's someone who can wait for me. Even after so many years, she still loves me. And i would be willing to do the same for her." he chuckles as he remembers Ryujin's smile.
