Chapter 16

Guards of monster-ous portions stood in front of you. You sneak your way past them and over to a long hall of faint lights. Each footstep echoed to the last. It comes to a large room, filled with cages, lined with ice. Ice. Why Ice?
You walk slowly through this icy tundra when you hear:

"There has to be a way out of here!" A voice boomed.

Marshall.

You speed up in the direction of the sound. Then you here Cake's voice.

"It's no use, I've tired everything."

"Well I'm not locked up in a block of ice, maybe I can do more!" Marshall screams.

Loud sounds of clanging and struggling came from the small hall on your left. You dart down the hall to see Cake, blocked in with only her head loose, in ice and a giant bat, shoving it's legs against the ice bars, both in cages.

"Cake," You say walking up to her cage.

"Marshall?" you say turning to his cage.

He transforms back to himself and smiles.

"What are you doing here baby, it's not safe!" Cake half whispers, half yells from behind you.

"I had to come get you guys, I couldn't leave without you." you say still looking at Marshall.

"That's sweet, where Fionna?" Cake says in a worried tone.

You turn and look at Cake,

"I don't know... she didn't come with me." you say almost ashamed.

Cake looks down.

"Come on let's get you out of here." you say.

Suddenly a blast of ice storms in, knocking you to the ground unconscious
