Chapter 8

You have never flown in an airplane before so you never exactly been this high before. You don't know if it was the fact that you were so high in the air or that you were so high in the air with only your arms holding you up from certain death, but you were terrified yet excited. You shut your eyes to relax yourself. You feel Marshall Lee's hands on you and then a sudden increase in wind. You fling your eyes open to see the ground and all of Aaa below you. You scream and scramble in panic toward Marshall, which makes him laugh. "Hey!" you say poking him. "That's not funny." "why'd you poke me?" he asks looking at you through the corner of his eye. "Well cause you scared me and you deserved it." you say playfully. "well... you deserve this!" he yells." He releases you and you drop through the air. You scream and wail your arms in every direction. "Oh my Glob, Oh my Glob, Oh my Glob!" you shout as you fall faster and faster. You see the ground in sight and shut your eyes tightly. Inches from the ground something grabs you and stops you. You open your eyes and see the grass just barely tipping your nose. You look up and see Marshall, about to lose it. He cracks up, releasing you to cluch his stomach. You fumble to the ground. You glare at him. He continues to laugh. You get up and dust off the dirt that held on to your pants. "Aww come on mrs grumpy face, it was funny." Marshall Lee playing with yours hair. You weren't mad, but still wanted to prove a point. You folded your arms and turned away from him. "wh-what did I do?!" he states in a worried tone. You feel a smile crack across your face. "a-ah come on, don't be mad-I'm-I'm sorry." Marshall says placing a hand on your shoulder. "What? did the oh-so-tough Marshall Lee? Just say sorry?" Fionna said in a mocking tone walking over to you guys. Marshall Lee flew past you and landed in front of Fionna. "What's it to you?" Marshall Lee said Bluntly. Fionna stepped back at the sudden distance between them. A flutter of anger filled your stomach. "well you,never, say sorry to me or anyone." Fionna states closing more space between them. You felt the anger threw yourself toward them. You stepped between them, pushing them far apart. "Now, now, Does it really matter?" You ask hoping they would move further apart. Marshall Lee flew over you and up to Fionna in anger. "I could do or say whatever I want Fionna." Fionna's face hardened. Marshall Lee exhaled before grabbing your arm and continuing left. "Hey, that was kinda harsh don't you think?" You ask gently. "Yeah SO?" Marshall Lee turned around nearly yelling. You look at him. His expression softens realizing what he said. He shoved his hands into his pockets, staring at the ground. "Sorry, I didn't mean to yell." He admits looking up at you then returning his eyes to the ground. You felt special. He was different then what you expected. You place your hand gently on his cheek. His head shoots up at you slightly reddened. "Its okay." You say quietly. He looks away. "Come on,"he said changing the conversation and returning to his usual grin. "Lets go party!" he says taking your hand and flying once again through the air.
