J-Hope is the third rapper of BTS along with Namjoon and Yoongi. Sometimes I get the feeling that some people tend to forget about Hobi. So if your a new Army please make sure to treat each member equally because they're all precious in their own ways.
Stage Name: J-Hope
Full Name: Jung Hoseok
Position: Rapper, Dancer
Age: 25 (born in Gwangju on Feburary 18th 1994)J-Hope is known as the sunshine of the group and needs to be protected at all costs. His sweet personality and positive energy are something very special and make him stand out from the rest. (By that I don't mean the group or the other members but people in general) He always tries to stay positive and wants to motivate his fans to enjoy and embrace every single moment in life and to always keep going. Sometimes I feel like we don't deserve him because there is so much hate in this fandom and he doesn't deserve any of it. J-Hope is able to lighten up a whole room just with his beautiful and contagious laugh. He really is beautiful inside and out and we should make sure that his smile never goes away (just like Jimin once said).
One thing you might notice is that when he laughs his mouth is shaped like a heart. I mean if that's not the cutest thing you've ever heard than I don't know what is..Hoseok is not only amazing at rapping he's also extremely talented at dancing.
When he was younger he used to be a well known underground street dancer and was part of a dance crew called "Neuron". J-Hope originally auditioned for JYP entertainment as a dancer but eventually got cut after a few rounds. His alternative and second try was BigHit. His special technics and his passion for dancing are the reason he got accepted and collected as a trainee. After a few years of training Hoseok almost got cut again from the BTS lineup but both him and RM convinced the company that the group needs him. (I think during a 'Run' episode) Namjoon also said that they couldn't have done it without J-Hope and that they absolutely needed him to be a part of the group (and still do). And I completely agree. I just can't imagine BTS without Hobi.. He's always there for the other members and makes sure everyone is alright. He's the one who always brings positive energy into the group and every single performance. He makes sure everyone sticks together and that the mood is up high. Whenever someone isn't feeling well he tries to distract them or does whatever he can to make them feel better. He also cares for his fans a lot. His stage name is supposed to represent that he wants to be the light and source of hope for their fans.I wish J-Hope had more singing parts because he also has a lovely singing voice. His voice is very distinctive and individual and I could honestly listen to him all day. He even released a solo album including his iconic song 'Chicken Noodle Soup'. If you're new to the fandom you should definitely listen to it. His whole stage presence is just incredible and he definitely puts alot of heart into every single performance. His style in general is also very individual and unique.
J-Hope is always trying to make the people around him laugh with silly dances or expressions. He's very good at creating a safe environment and making everyone feel excepted. He's also very supporting and caring in general and has recently donated 65.000$ to a charity that helps to give scholarships to underprivileged female students. Hoseok is extremely afraid of heights and bugs and well..he hates snaku.. But one thing he loves is sprite. That's right he loves hamburger and sprite.
