BTS introduction

Park Jimin

Okay next one in line is Jiminie and I honestly don't know where to start.

Stage Name: Jimin
Full Name: Park Jimin
Position: lead vocalist, main dancer
Age: 23 (born in Busan on October 13th 1995)

Hm well I seriously don't know where to start with Jimin.. On the one side he can be the cutest little mochi with his tiny hands and everything but on the other side he can be the biggest tease on stage. He's very kind and gentle and always treats people with respect. The other members even said that they think Jimin has the best personality out of all of them and that they can always rely on him for support. He get's shy very easily and often get's embarressed when the others point out his habits. But Jimin also has a lot of confidence and knows exactly what he's doing.
He has a very sweet and playfull personality and loves to annoy the other members. But he made it very clear that his family, BTS and Army mean the world to him. He said that the other members have inspired him a lot and without their help he wouldn't be the person he is today. If you look at older videos and performances you can tell that he's changed and matured a lot over the years. Jimin is extremely generous and kind and he cares about things very deeply. Sometimes I feel like people don't expect him to think as deep and thoughtful as he does because of his cute little mochi side. But Jimin is so much more than that. He knows exactly how to put his emotions into words which is something very special and many people aren't able to do.

He's a very honest person and said that he thinks his best trait is that he's able to smile with his eyes. It makes me really happy when the members talk about the things they love about themsleves because I can only imagine how hard it must be to constantly being watched and critized by millions of people around the world. Jimin has often mentioned that he tends to be really hard on himself and is still not fully confident with his looks. He used to struggle with his insecurities a lot in the past and I know that many people know about this and that it's not a secret or anything but I still think it's such an emotional and vunerable topic that it's nothing for us to talk about. (I will get a bit deeper into it later). Jimin is probably the most hardworking member of the group and Jungkook once said that Jimin is constantly trying to improve his vocal abilities. Jin also mentioned that he doesn't know how he's able to work so tirelessly because often when he's taking a break or is done with practise Jimin is still in the studio dancing and working hard. He always wants to do his best and often feels bad whenever he made a mistake.
He has also cried more than once backstage just because he made a minor mistake which was barely noticable or couldn't do his best because he wasn't feeling well.
I think Jimin is a very thoughtful person and the problem is that he tends to overthink things fast. But he's literally perfect no matter what he does so please please protect him at all costs.

He might be very self critical but at the same time I feel like he's also a very selfless person. He just wants to make the people around him happy and would do anything for their fans. One time it was raining while they were performing and Jimin was worried that their fans might get a cold. And another time when a fan nearly passed out at a concert he just sat there and waited until they got help. You cal also tell how much he cares about Army just by the way he looks at us or sometimes cries happy tears while performing. It's just very inspiring to see him performing live because you can tell that he's doing what he loves. Jimin has a natural talent at dancing and used to be one of the top students at the Department of Dancing at the high School of Arts in Busan which he was attending. His teachers convinced him to audition for BigHit Entertainment because of his incredible dancing skills. He passed the audition and moved to Soul to become a full time trainee. He was the last member to join BTS and had the shortest training period.
