In my story I've made some twists on the characters backgrounds So here is some info Astrids background: So Astrid is the one I've been toying around with the most.Her story is that her mother and father are spirits so Astrid was born as an immortal.She would stop growing at some age,I decided it would be 17/18 but as I have said she look like Astrid Hofferson in httyd3.She has two siblings,brenden(immortaly 25) and a younger sister brenna who is 7 at the moment but is still aging naturally.Her parents name's are Charles Hofferson and Kára hrist (hrist is her maiden name).They are descendants of The Irish banshees.......(and yes I am Irish that is why some origins and some places in the story are from Ireland)........so Astrid inherited the power to predict death.
Moana: So for Moana I've decided to not stray to far from the original story. In this version because the sea chose her,after Moana passed away at age 78 the sea and the moon combined and brought her back as a spirit and she looks like her 18 year old self.She is a powerful water spirit/bender.
Tadashi: Wel it's basically the same old story with him except when he was killed (R.I.P😖) He was reassurected by the moon and help something isssssss going on with my computer . Anyways . He is now a hellhound (human version).And is the parabatai to Jack Frost as a symbol of that they both have matching tattoos on their backs in the shape of a snowflake (or whatever you want it to be).If you don't know what a parabatai is the look it up.
Flynn: Flynn and Merida are the only humans (or mundanes as they will be called through out the story)in the group.Flynns parents died when he was youn and he was put in an orphanage,but he was mistreated and ran away.He fended for himself by stealing food and finding his own shelter.One day jack took pity on him and sneakily help him get food and then blah blah blah he believed and so on.
Merida: Same background but is a distant relative of Astrid.Isn't immortal and has no supernatural powers. Jack: In this story Jack and Tadashi are the only ones who know about jacks past as a nightlight.If you have read the books by William Joyce you should know what a nightlight is but if you don't look up Rotg:nightlight .They also know that jack has not reached the full extent to his powers.If you read the last chapter you might notice I said he was trying to use his powers without his staff so kinda like Elsa so every morning he goes to the dark sea and practices.Him and the guardians are as close as ever tho so yeah he is doin great besides from the whole kidnapping thing. Hunter: Hunter was a human who was asked if he would like to be a spirit like most others.He is a shapeshifter cabable off shifting into any small animal.He is stuck up,arrogant and distinctive with cherry red hair
