Katherine looked around at the sparsely decorated office which was now hers. She saw to the right the door which she presumed connected to me Saunders office and in the middle of the room was a large desk and a comfortable looking office chair behind it. She walked over and sat in the chair.

There was a new looking MacBook sitting in front of her, she wasn't very good at using the MacBook software but she was going to have to pick it up quickly it was clear her lack of knowledge wasn't going to be a good excuse in mr Saunders company.

Turning it on the login page popped up, she created a password and found that an office email address had already been set up for her.
Just as she logged in an email appeared in her inbox.

To be completed
1. talk to mr Ford in accounting and sort out the budget report for case 123xgh654

2. Pick up fax documentation

3. Re organise the storage system for all open deals

Katherine looked at the email, blinking rapidly, how was she supposed to do all this on her first day? What a dick he was being rude and now he is pushing work on her which he knows is physically impossible for her to complete and she doesn't even know where half the places she needs to go actually are located in this place.

Fuming she stood up from the desk and walked out to the main reception on the floor

A good looking man in his early thirties was standing in the foyer talking to the receptionist.
He looked over at the sound of her heels and smiled at her. His eyes giving her a slow exam.

"Hi there I'm Derek, you must be new because a face as gorgeous as yours i would remember seeing
About here before" he flashes Katherine a smile and offered her his hand to shake

"Hi yes I am new, Katherine gray, nice to meet you" she smiled and took his hand shaking it.

"What department are you in?" Derek asked letting go of her hand

"I'm actually mr Saunders assistant" Katherine replies

Derek looked shocked but smirked a little "you don't

I'm from marketing "would you want to meet and have lunch that way I can show you about because I know mr Saunders can be quite secluded up here and you probably haven't met or seen much else of this place yet" Katherine was relieved to meet derek he was friendly and the offer Comforted her she didn't fancy eating alone in her empty looking office

She smiled brightly " that would be brilliant, thank you so much, by any chance would you have time to show me where mr Ford has his office?" She hoped he would say yes because she had no idea who else she would ask. She got the feeling mr Saunders wasn't looking to be bothered by his assistant today.

"Not a bother babe, it's just on the 3rd floor if you ask the receptionist for mr Ford she will direct
You straight to him, I would bring you myself but I have a meeting with the devil himself" derek winked and they exchanged numbers agreeing to meet in the foyer of building at 1.30 for lunch.

Katherine walked to the elevator and pressed the button to take her to floor three as the doors closed she saw mr Saunders emerging from his office and approaching derek with a tense jaw. He sure was always in a good mood she rolled her eyes.

James pov

When James saw Katherine walk into his office floor through the camera he readied himself, the image was black and white but clearly showed that she was dressed professionally, her hair neat and her posture perfect. She was smiling and talking to the receptionist Gemma. Gemma was clearly irritating Katherine but then again she was a bitch and had a thing for making his receptionist nervous. He would have fired her long ago if it wasn't for the fact that she was good at her job and because she wanted in his pants so much she did everything he asked her to do, including sending break up texts to women he slept with who didn't get the message that it

He stood up and walked out of his office to meet Katherine.

He wasn't fully prepared though seeing her in person she looked beautiful, even more so than he remembered and he remembered her to be stunning then. Her skirt and heels made her small frame look long, her slender waist he was sure would mould perfectly against him.
But that's against the rules, well his rules anyway.

He spoke to her, he found his tone sharper than intended and heard himself making up a list of rules that apparently where office rules. Though after he left her later on the more he thought about it the more he realised he made up those rules to remind himself that this gorgeous woman was not a possibility. Sleeping with co workers gets messy and James didn't like mess much.

After about half an hour James got up and headed to make himself a coffee, normally that would be katherines Job but he had sent her to her office
To await instructions via email so he could try and clear his head. He knew he was being unreasonable but he needed to try and keep these urges at the back of his head. Work and play didn't work but he couldn't help but think what the beauty next door thought of him
