when i opened my eyes, i was expecting to see my dingy room with my bare walls. instead, i woke to the sunlight beaming through her windows, cascading across her face. her pink cheeks, warm body against mine, and her long lashes resting on her face were the some of the few things that made me love her. i could stay here forever.
then i woke up from my dream.
