Horse Academy

chapter 2 ~ My apartment

I manage to find myself the way to my apartment and drag my suitcase towards it, Using my personalised blue key I unlock the front door and kick my shoes off towards the rack that holds my other pairs that had already been sent here. Most of my stuff was already here but my suitcase contained more clothes and my electronic devices. I look around and fall in love with what I see. 

FRONT ROOM :

A grey fluffy carpet, crème walls and an amazing crystal chandelier. On one wall a massive life sized horse is drawn in all black rearing up. The sofas are crème with black pillows with horses sewn onto them along with a few plain light blue ones. A massive bookcase holds my 54" flat screen tv along with all the PlayStations, Xboxes and all games currently out plus some movies and books that made it look completely full. One of the walls has a built in aquarium housing millions of expensive fish of all shapes, sizes and breeds. Plus the creme glass coffee table has fresh water fish in the base .

BATHROOM:

the floor is full of different shades of blue tiles and the walls are painted white. The light is a couple of moving spotlights in a row. The bath is built into the floor and works like a waterfall and has a moat around it to collect the water that pours over the edge and pumps it back into the tap. The ceiling is painted like the sky and the shower changes colour. The sink works like a waterfall to. The toilet is white and the water changes colour it works like a waterfall like all of the other water based features. A white medicine cabinet is hung up above the sink with mirrors on the doors and holds all my toiletry items

BEDROOM :

KITCHEN :

The floor is black/grey  tiles and the walls are light blue tiles. The light is a stunning crystal chandelier . the counters are white with a grey topping . the sink is white and works like a waterfall the oven is all modern and is white. The fridge and freezer are together and have a drink dispenser with ice options. The washer is modern and so is the drier. 

I notice a room with a locked door. After seeing It I see two dog kennels in the corner of the living room. Rushing over I see two fully grown Dogs locked inside one of which has a key around its neck. I let them out and they run over to me excited by my presents. I take the key from around the dog's neck and walk over to the locked door painted in black on the white door are cute little paw prints that get bigger the further up the door they get. A smaller door is at the bottom that allows the dogs to go through as they wish. I unlock the door with the key and shut the dogs out. Deciding to let them get used to the door. I unlock the smaller one and am surprised that they both push through quickly. The room itself is a dog's dream. A letter is present on the floor .

Hey darling ,

These two are yours the one with the pink collar is called Snow Queen and the one with the blue collar is called Blake. They are brother and sister and are completely fully trained im trusting you with them and expect you to walk them every day . Everything you will need is in here, dog collars , leads ,treats you name it it's in here ! there is a automatic water and food bowl that fills itself up 3 times a day a self-cleaning bathroom and a small dog pool in the corner for them to paddle in. The dogs have been here for a while and are trained to only poop and pee in the automatic toilet ,

I've always wanted a dog!! I walk back into the front room and collapse onto the sofa. The dogs sit on the floor looking up at me pleadingly .

"ahh what the heck get up here" I say . Almost immediately I am bombarded by two fully grown Huskies. they settle down onto my lap and I gently stroke their heads. My phone goes off and I slip it out of my pocket

Shit ! how could I have forgotten ? I leap up which startles the dogs. I throw my boots on and jog out of the door yelling you better be good and bye as I leave. After reaching the theatre I slip into a seat at the back. Immediately people come over and try to discretely sit close to me, but they fail, miserably. I don't make a fuss about it though and just continue to browse instagram on my phone liking the photo's that interest me.The headmistress appears on the stage and I turn my phone off as the hall goes silent.

"Hello first years,

I am Mrs Scott and I am the headmistress of this school if you did not know." She pauses momentarily "I expect that you all have met you dorm mates and have made some friends." Well I haven't got a dorm mate since I have my own apartment. It's the pent house of the Building block so I have an apartment not a singular room. " Good I do not tolerate bullying or leaving people out. Tomorrow is Saturday we start lessons Monday. Weekends are free days. Unlike many schools we do not give out homework as the school focuses on horses and the art of horseback riding. you only have 4 lessons a day 1 hour of dressage, 1 hour of horse science, 1 hour of cross country and 1 hour of show jumping. We are pleased to say that this year we have someone very special in the academy. I would like to ask Skylar Evans to the stage" she says. I stand up and jog down to the stage blocking my face from view because of the stares I'm getting. 

"Hello Skylar, thank you for coming to this academy. Would you mind giving us a small show on one of your horses?" she asks

"Hi, okay I guess ,take everyone to the large indoor arena and wait for me,  will you set some jumps up however high you want?" I say. She nods and everyone gets up and leaves. I run down to Moonlights stable and tack her up. I mount up and we make our way to the arena .
