The clock struck 7:14 when the brunette walked into the estate that Lucien owned. Eris was fashionably late and caught the eyes of many of the vampires and witches there. There were numerous women dancing to "Earned it" by the Weekend, no doubt to keep those interested at bay.

The dress she wore was grey, her bust was sewn with pure silver and white diamonds. Jaws dropped as she walked into the long hall. The stares they held were deadly but to everyone's expectation, Eris Laurent smiled. Her lip gloss defined her lips and her gorgeous white teeth glimmered brighter than everyone's in the room. Her eyes latched onto Lucien.

"Rather boring Lu, I expected more glitz and glam from someone of your hierarchy." She said smugly.

"Oh shut your mouth child, my parties are always the best." He smirked walking closer to her. "You look breathtaking darling, I made a good choice." He referred to the dress he chose and Eris just laughed.

"You look horrid Lucien. Your suit," she pointed out, and pretended to gag, "That is not it. I thought we agreed on black Lu!"

Lucien laughed rather loudly grabbing the attention of others and continued Eris and his conversation.

Across the room stood Elijah Mikaelson with his sister Freya and the mother of his niece Hayley. Elijah's face paled as he saw his once friend laughing. He watched Lucien and Eris continue their laughs as he had an arm around her shoulders.

"Who is she?" Freya questioned. But Elijah didn't answer. Instead he locked eyes with Lucien, but quickly broke it. He saw Lucien whisper something into Eris' ear. The brunette stood straighter and held her head higher, she gave a kiss onto Lucien's cheek before walking to the Mikaelson.

"Eris," he breathed out slowly and quietly as she stood in front of the three.

"Hi Elijah," she looked into his eyes. His hand brushed against her cheek, as his eyes became glossy.

"How?" He whispered.

"I am like you Elijah, Lucien's blood was in my system before I passed." She looked to him.

"If I had known Eris, we would've came back. I would've came back for you and no doubt my brother-"

"I highly doubt that Elijah, but I have come to tell you something." She said hesitantly as her 5'5 frame looked up to Elijah again. "I'm sorry, about Kol and Finn. They treated me well, really well. And if there is one thing I regret doing is not pulling out those retched daggers when I had chance." She said angry at herself. "But, losing a sibling is extremely difficult, I am so sorry for your loss. They both loved you, I hope you know that. Please enjoy the party, all of you. Lucien would very much like that."

Eris spoke sincerely and softly. She gave Elijah's hand a squeeze before walking away to the bar. She was so consumed in her thoughts that she bumped into someone causing a liquid to cascade down her dress.

"Shit," she said looking at her dress that was now much darker. "I'm sorry for bumping into you," she apologized.

As she looked up to see the man who she'd bumped into, she recognized the ocean blue eyes. It was Niklaus Mikaelson. He gazed at her, his lips slightly parted as if he was speechless. But before he could say anything she quickly walked away.

To say Niklaus was in shock was an understatement. Her green eyes were ones he would never forget. Not possible. He thought to himself as he walked back over to his family. His distraught face caught the attention of Hayley.

"Klaus, are you okay?" Hayley asked.

Niklaus was unsure what to say. Although Elijah's face held a similar expression to his.

"Who the hell was that girl and why was she talking about our brothers?" Freya let out, exhausted by their silence.

Klaus and Elijah exchanges looks before Elijah let out a deep sigh.

"That was Niklaus' fiancé, Eris Laurent," Elijah faced his sister.

"She's wearing the diamond necklace I saw in Lucien's penthouse," Klaus said out loud, livid and taken back.

"Klaus, you're fiancé?" Hayley restated, wanting the clarification that would satisfy her curiosity.

Before Klaus could answer the mother of his child Lucien came up to around the family.

"I'm glad to see you're enjoying the party.''
