Right here, right now
I put the offer out
I don't want to chase you down
I know you see it
You run with me
And I can cut you free
Out of the drudgery and walls you keep in
So trade that typical for something colorful
And if it's crazy, live a little crazy
You can play it sensible, a king of conventional
Or you can risk it all and see

Making a deal with Deceit? Logan gulped. That did not sound ideal. "I suppose that should be arranged."

Deceit smirked. "I'm glad you agree."

Remus giggled. "Are you two in a secret affair, or....?"

Deceit didn't bother with the spray-bottle this time. "OKAY, I am done with him! Come on." Deceit grabbed Logan's arm and started dragging him out of the room.

Logan furrowed his eyebrows. "Where are we-"

"My room." Deceit turned the corner and started up a staircase.

"Is that safe?" Logan grimaced. "Virgil and Patton's room both-"

Deceit laughed, exasperated. "Of course it's not safe, can't you tell I'm trying to kill you?"

Logan furrowed his eyebrows. "So, I'm assuming it's fine?"

"Virgil and Patton are charged with emotion. I'm not. You should be okay." Logan decided that was solid reasoning. It held to the same logic as his theory that Deceit could go into his room.

"Isn't there a better place to do this?"

Deceit sighed. "Oh yes, let's stay out there with that man baby or the living room where they can come home at any moment."

Logan shrugged. "You have a point."

"Here we are." Deceit opened the door and gestured at Logan to go in.

Logan stepped into his room and looked around. He instantly had to hold back laughter. "You keep a business desk in your room?"

Deceit shook his head. "Oh no, that's clearly a coffin."

"That does not look like-"

"No genius, it is a business desk."

Logan walked towards the desk. "Can I look at the name-plate?"

Deceit looked confused for a moment, then looked up with a beam of realization and sprinted to the desk, stopping Logan. He promptly hid the plate in the desk's drawer and turned around. "Now you can't."

"Is that a chair with wheels? Do you do practice meetings where you turn around dramatically when the person walks in?"

Deceit clicked his tongue. "...no. Look, just sit down on the normal chair. The rolly chair is mine."

"You're sure I can't have the rolly chair? It would help me establish dominance in the meeting."

"NO- no, you can't have the rolly chair."

Logan sat down in the non-rolly chair. Logan usually didn't think of himself as someone who messes with others for entertainment, but this was already an unusual situation to begin with.

Deceit leaned over the table. "Look Logan, I'll drop the Liar-Liar act for you."

"For me?" Logan furrowed his eyebrows. "That sounds like you're trying to forge an artificial connection to get what you want."

Deceit's eyes widened. "You figured that out fast- I mean no." He cleared his throat. "That was not what I was trying to do."

Logan nodded. "Thank you. I think I'm very safe here."
