"On the moon," his voice cut through the silence. My steps falter at the stutter of his lips, but I don't stop, he follows with large steps towards me, cutting the distance to mere feet. I curve around the corner, my eyes burning as he continues, walking after me, like a moth to a flame, "The sun rises perfectly on the horizon of the earth, I'd sit on the surface to look at its light everyday," he takes my wrist just as I reach the frame of my bedroom.

"Stop it, Lu!" I pull from him but he hangs steady, holding the other wrist before taking the sides of my face in his hands, my body going still as his eye's connect with mine. I can't hide the flush of my cheeks, the dried tears that I had she'd because of him, his eyes going downcast before he straightens, towering over me, holding me close and then proceeds.

"I'd see your golden hair in the sun," he strokes my hair with his left hand, "your eye's as bright as the water of the earth," he strokes my wet cheeks with his thumbs, breathlessly releasing a shaky sigh. "Your face among the stars..." he leans in close as I place my hands over his, my fingers around his wrists as I sniffle. "I couldn't stop thinking about you, no matter how far I went, you were always with me, Josie."
