The Girl From The Red Room

School -Chapter 4

Liz showed me around the school and she finished right as the first bell rang and she pointed me to where my classroom was and I thanked her and went to my class. I opened the door and was greeted by the faces of 20 or so high schoolers "ah, you must be our new student! How about you introduce yourself" the man said and I froze "um, well my name is Amber Petrova and I moved here from Moscow" I said and the teacher smiled at me "thank you, Ms. Petrova. Please take a seat" he said and I walked to the nearest seat which was in between the girl I meet this morning that pointed me towards the registration office and a guy with dark blonde almost brown curly hair. I set my bag down and pulled my books out for the subject and started class.

*Lunch*

I walked into the cafeteria and got food and once I was done I looked around the room for a place for me to sit and I found an almost empty table and walked over sat down closer to the other end of the table then the other people and began to eat my food. I looked around and the only people who were sitting at the table was MJ, Peter, and Ned, I learned their names from class today. MJ was a few seats down from me but not far and Peter and Ned sat way on the other end of the table. I looked over at MJ and got her attention "are you going to Homecoming?" I asked "party's and dances aren't really my thing" MJ said and I nodded.

The lunch bell rang telling us that lunch was over and I stood up and went out of the room and towards my next class.

So far the day has been boring but P.E was fun because it's something I thrive in, because of my job. Our first task today was to climb a rope and ring the bell and climb back down, 'easy' I thought to myself and it got to my turn. I started up the rope acting like it took a lot of strength and rang the bell and went back down the rope. I was bored with this high school thing already, it's to easy.

P.E class was over and it was my last class and I went into the locker room and cleaned myself up by showering and putting clean clothes on and then went out to wait for Happy.

I didn't wait long for happy to show up.

I got into the car and I found a box in the seat next to me "what's this?" I asked "something Shield sent you" Happy said and I nodded "ok" I said and waited to open it till I got back to the Avengers tower.

We pulled up to the Avengers tower and I got out of the car and thanked Happy and went inside carrying the box Shield gave me. I went into the elevator and pressed my floor and the elevator went up. The doors opened on the familiar level that I have been living on for the past day in a half. I walked out of the elevator and saw that no one was there, so I walked to my room. I got to my room and set my stuff down and opened the box. When I opened it, it revealed a dark blue dress with a long flowy skirt and sequins on the bodice (photo above). I hung up the dress and smiled at how pretty it was. I closed my closet and grabbed my homework out of my bag and began to work on it.

I finished most of my homework and decided to call it a night since some of the other work was due next week. I went to the bathroom and brushed my hair and put it into two French braids and brushed my teeth. I went back into my room and grabbed a black tank top and a pair of shorts and put them on and went to bed.

I woke up and started to get ready by taking my hair out of the braids and brushing my teeth. I changed out of my pajamas and changed into a pair of blue jeans and a black shirt and left my room with my bag and went to the kitchen. I grabbed a snack on the way and went towards the elevator and pressed the button to the lobby. The elevator opened and I stepped out and walked out of the building and got into Happy's car. He drove away from the building.

We got to school and I said my goodbyes to Happy and went inside the school. I was greeted by MJ who has become my friend. "Hey, Amber" she said "hi, MJ, how are you?" I asked and MJ nodded "I'm alright" she said and I nodded. We walked to my locker and I put some extra things into my locker and shut it and we went to our class.

Halfway through class I could sense someone staring at me. I looked over and saw Peter staring at me but once he noticed I saw him he looked away. I shrugged off the weirdness and went back to my work.

At the end of the school day I heard footsteps coming up from behind me, then slowed down and then there was someone next to me. "H-hey, it's Amber, right?" A voice from beside me said "yup" I said popping the 'p' and I looked to my side and saw Peter. "Oh, hi Peter" I said and he gave me a look "you know my name?" He asked "yeah, I memorize names fast" I said and he nodded "Mr. Stark told me everything and I don't need a babysitter" he said and I smiled "well, take that up with Mr. Stark" I said and walked away and went towards Happy's car and got inside.
