(This will not go by the movie)Third person POV
Bruce was in his weapons room. Putting little Gadgets on his arm band that went to his suit. He knew he had to do this. For her, and for him. They both deserved that. So she stops blaming herself for his death. If anyone was to blame. It would be him. He was the reason clark died. And Lois had no right to blame her. She had no right. But he could understand. She was grieving the man she loved. But she didn't have to blame Lizzie for his death. Doesn't she know she's already hurting by remembering his death? This is why he had to do it. He had to do it for his daughter. He saw Lizzie as his daughter. He knew her before she even met clark. They met a year before she met clark. She was only about fourteen or fifteen around the time. She was by herself. And Gotham wasn't a good place to be at night time. She was pinned to the wall at gunpoint.
The guy didn't have time to pull the trigger. Because Bruce knocked the guy on his Ass. Lizzie turned around and looked him straight in the eyes. And she smiled. She said thank you multiple times. He smiled a little, at seeing her so much. She was beautiful. He told her to be careful and then he zoomed off with his grappling hook. They didn't see each other until a year later. Apparently she had family in Gotham. And at the time it was day time. He had ran into her. And they locked eyes.
She pulled him aside and said she knew about him being Batman. But she told him she would keep his secret. He took her to the mansion. She met Alfred, Alfred made her a sandwich. Which he continues to do today. Alfred had a secret soft spot for her, just as he did. They spent a few days together and got to know each other. And by the time she had to leave. He almost knew everything about her. And when she left, he missed her. They both did.
The next time was when she got her powers. It was after she met clark. She told him about her powers. He was surprised, but not shocked. I mean he was Batman. He thought it was kinda badass for her to have powers. She can protect herself now. But then it came to the fight between himself and clark aka Superman. Then the fight of doomsday. He felt guilty knowing he was responsible for Clark's death. But knowing she was there. To see his body. He saw the little girl he met that one night, just break. It broke his heart to see her like that. To see her best friend dead. And blame herself. And then have someone blame you for not being there. It broke her till she was unfixable. And then to the part where she wanted to kill the asshole himself. He saw the rage, the anger, the sadness. The brokenness. He had to hold her back before she could kill him and be locked up too. She got so mad at him for stopping her. But he didn't want her to be locked away. He didn't want that and he knew clark wouldn't want that. She looked so betrayed that day. She was so angry at him that she stopped talking to him. For a year. It was the longest year he had to spend away from her. Knowing she was mad at him. But he had people who would watch out for her. Make sure she was okay. Even if she was angry at him, he didn't see her any less. He saw her as his little girl. His daughter.
He smiled just thinking of her smile. He loved the sight of her smile. He loved when she smiled. It always made him smile.
He then heard Alfred come in. "Well, that was fun while it didn't last", Alfred said. "How's Lizzie?", he asked Alfred. "You know how she is when she's sad, she likes to be alone, I made her, her usual, I just hope she eats it", he said. Bruce sighed. He knew he had to. "I don't see why your pushing her", Alfred said. Bruce looked at Alfred. "I'm not pushing Lizzie", he said raising an eyebrow. "You know I'm not talking about Lizzie", Alfred said. Bruce sighed again. "She basically dared me to. She had a century to grieve, while Lizzie has only been grieving for a year and look how depressed she is, she's nothing without him, and that's what I'm scared of, what If it gets worse, so I have to do this for her, and for him, they both deserve it, I just want her to be happy again, and I'll do anything to make her happy again, even if it means that clark might tear my spine out of my back", Bruce said.
"Your getting ahead out of yourself master Wayne, what if he's not the same, and this is all for nothing, what will that do to Lizzie? Don't you think that'll hurt her more, and we have to think about the countless lives that could possibly die", Alfred said trying to reason with him.
"And I have to think of my daughter! She is my daughter! I have to think of her first, seeing her like this, it kills me more then anything, if we don't try, well I may as well as lose my daughter, and I will not lose her, but if it goes all wrong, well I'll take the blame for it, but I have to do this for her and for him, I have to make things right again, no matter the cost", Bruce said breathing heavily. He sighed. He turned back to his arm band. "I'm sorry I snapped, but you should have seen her today, her eyes red and puffy from crying, bags under her eyes, she's thin, deathly thin Alfred, and from what I heard from Barry, she doesn't leave her house, she's a walking corpse without him and it kills me to see her like this, I won't lose my daughter to herself, I won't, I already lost so many people, I won't lose her, I won't", he said softly. He then walked out of the room to get more gadgets. He will not lose his daughter to herself. She was his daughter. May not be by blood. But he was her guardian. And might as well be her guardian. He cared for her. He might even love her as a daughter. And if bringing someone back to life to make her happy. Well he'll do it in a heartbeat. He'll do anything for her. His Lizzie.
His daughter.
