The Decision

Zeus' POV
I sighed. I knew what I had to do. And I knew what would happen if I do, do it. But it was worth it. I sat on my throne as Poseidon walked in with Hades. "Oh no, I know that look. Your going to do what I know what your going to do, aren't you?", Hades asked me. I sighed again. "You know I have to, she didn't deserve to die. It wasn't her time, she deserves to have the life and love that me and Isabella couldn't have", I said to them. Hades shook his head and Poseidon looked hesitant. "You know what'll happen if you do it and they find out. It'll be worse and we won't be able to help you", hades said crossing his arms over his chest. I ran a hand through my hair. I sighed. "I know, but for 22 years, 22 years hades. I wasn't in the life of my daughter, when I should have, they took that right from me and I won't let them do it again, and this time I won't let them take away the happiness for my daughter. I'll do whatever I have to, for my daughter. I don't care what the cost is. I'm in charge now, don't you remember, if they don't like it, well tough shit, she is my daughter and I will help her. She didn't deserve to die the way she did. She deserved to live and have love in her life. Her soulmate is wrecking himself with guilt and blame, because he thinks it was his fault that she died, he's this close to killing himself", I said gripping the arms to my throne. Both hades and Poseidon looked at each other and then back at me. "Well, she is our niece, we'll try whatever we can, what can we do brother?", hades asked. I sighed again. "You know what we'll have to do", I said. They both nodded. So we agree on this. I know she'll be happy to know that she will go back to her love. Something I couldn't have.

But I won't let her live a loveless life that I have. She deserves to live a life with love. Me and her mother would want that for her. And just as I was about to go get her. She came into the room, wearing a beautiful gown. I smiled at her. She looks so much like her mother. "Hello, daughter, how was your sleep?", I asked her. She shrugged her shoulders. "Could have been better, oh hey, didn't know you guys were here", she said as she saw both hades and Poseidon. I smirked. She was so much like her mother. Even her shyness and awkwardness.

"Daughter, we've come to a decision", I said tapping my fingers against the arms of my throne. She sighed. "It's okay, I'll understand if you can't bring me back, I died for a reason, as much as I miss him. I know death is permanent and he'll be okay, he'll be taken care of". She said. I could hear the sound of sadness in her voice. She was looking away, but I was positive that she was about to cry. It pained me to see her like this. My daughter. I shook my head and got up from my throne. I took her hands in mine.

She looked up at me and I was right. She had tear stains on her cheeks. I wiped them away with the back of my hand. "That was not what I was going to say Lizzie, I was going to say that it is possible to bring you back", I said. I watched as her eyes lit up. And then a smile started it's way onto her lips as well. She squealed. And then threw her arms around my neck and hugged me. "Oh my gosh! Yes! Yes! Yes! Thank you! Thank you so much! Eeeee!", she said hugging me tightly. I smiled and hugged her back. The first hug from my daughter. It felt nice. It felt really nice. The first hug. Felt really nice. She pulled back and I saw happy tears in her eyes. She sniffled and smiled. Her eyes then left mine and focused on her uncles. She ran over to them and literally pounced on them. Dragging them on the ground with her. That is so my daughter. She squealed again. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! You guys are the best! Eeeeee!", she squealed happily. I smiled and crossed my arms over my chest. She got up and I could see the smiles on both of my brothers lips. I knew they were starting to grow on her. "Wait", she said turning to me. "Won't you guys get in trouble for this? Cause I won't do it unless I know you guys won't get in trouble for this", she said crossing her arms over her shoulders. She has the same mad dog face her mother did.

"Daughter, you forget who I am. I am Zeus, the god of all gods. I won't get in trouble and neither will they", I said. It wasn't much of a lie. I mean, I am in charge. But I'll probably get a big scolding for it though. "Okay, I'm going to trust you on that", she said. I chuckled. "So when do we do this?", she asked me. I could see the glee in her eyes, the happiness. I smiled at her. "We'll do it this afternoon, let us get to know each other for a little while before we send you back down", I said. She smiled and nodded. "Of course, I wouldn't have it any other way, just one more question", she said. I smiled and nodded. "Anything", I said. She raised an eyebrow at me. Something she got from me. "How long has it Been since I was down there? I know time is faster down there then up here", she said. I froze. Shit. "She's smart", hades said. I saw Poseidon nod, agreeing with him. I gulped. "Daughter, I know this'll be quite a shock to you, and I'm sorry. It's the quickest I could do", I said. I knew I was trying to stall. She squinted her eyes at me. "Quit stalling", she said sternly. I gulped again. I sighed. "It's been a year", I said. I watched as her eyes went wide in shock and her mouth opened ready to yell. "Holy shit! A year?!", she yelled at me. Yep, she's definitely got that from Isabella.

I gulped again. Holy shit was right.
