Lizzies POV

I woke feeling a little groggy, but it was better then when I was feeling like shit earlier. So that's a good sign, I'm still alive it seems. I was in my bed, I crawled out of it and stretched. "Mmm", I moaned as I heard my joints pop as before they were stiff. I then walked out of my room, to see everyone. But I had a excellent timing. I was almost hit with something. I'm not sure what it was, but I really didn't want to know. I saw Arthur fuming. Well he's angry. "Don't do that", Bruce said. 'Whoa, what did I miss?'. I thought to myself. I saw Diana sharpening her sword. "We just got our asses handed to us. And steppwolf has got the third box. And it ended up with her hurt. (He pointed to me) don't you see the problem here Bruce", Arthur said angrily. I just blushed. Anyhow let's move on. "So we find them", Diana said. Well I'm all on board. But how the hell are we supposed to find them?

"If the boxes are even close to each other, there's going to be some sort of energy surge", Diana said. I thought it over, she's right. Once those three boxes are slightly touching, they'll send off a surge. Just like the one of the alien ship. "And steppenwolves gonna be keeping them somewhere where they don't read, no internet, no satellite coverage", victor said. I sighed. Things are so fucking complicated right now.

"Well that narrows it down", Bruce said. Really, how? Because I don't even know. "Not enough", victor said. Yeah I'm with victor. How the hell are we supposed to find these things? "So you can't find them, or maybe you don't want to", Arthur said testing victors rage. I rolled my eyes. "Arthur, stop this", I said annoyed. I could see victors gun ready to blow Arthur into smithereens. Great, just great.

But of course, he ignored me. "Yeah, that was a great way to get rid of Superman", Arthur said. Okay, if he gets his ass handed to him. Then he ain't going to come crying to me. "Man, I'm not doing this on purpose", victor said. Arthur is being such a douche right now. He knows victor can't control his own body. "Right, 'cause you cant control the machine", he said mockingly. I rolled my eyes once more. Douchebag alert. I stifled a laugh, Arthur's eyes look so funny when her angry. His blue eyes look so funny, and the way his nose twitches when he's mad. I just want to laugh.

"Uh, so, is this a bad time to bring up my blood sugar?", Barry asked. I snorted. Only he would interrupt a fight like this for food. I snapped my fingers and a whole pizza was sitting in front of him. He gave me one of those happy Barry smiles he usually gives me. I playfully saluted him.

I watched as Arthur walked to another part of the room. Well he needs to go cool off. I snorted again. I'm on a roll today. I turned around and saw Diana walk up to victor. "Victor, you can find the boxes, you share their energy. I know it's frightening, but if you go under, I promise we'll pull you back out", she said trying to comfort him. Aww. Cute. He looked at where Arthur once stood and then back at her. "Just keep the little merman away from me while I work", he said jokingly. I snorted and started to laugh. Okay that was a good one. "Good one victor", I said still laughing. That was so funny. Now I had a new nickname for him. Victor smiled at me before going back to the computers.

I looked at Diana. She smiled.

"Barry go online, everybody checks everybody else's work", Bruce said. I smirked. He's just so serious. Ooo! I rolled my eyes. Been there, done that. I've never been scared of him. I watched as he left the room to go talk to Arthur. Ooo! What are they going to talk about? I'm curious. But instead of going to snoop I had my suit to check, hopefully I got all the blood stains out. That's a big hopefully though.

Arthur's POV

I turned around once I heard footsteps coming into the room. They were too heavy to be Lizzie's. It was Bruce. I rolled my eyes. Great, what does he want now? Can't he see I want to be alone? "Listen, I was wondering if you could put out, a, you know, a feeler. Like, aquatic. You know. I don't know........Do you talk to fish?", he asked me. I rolled my eyes. What a dumbass. I don't talk to fish. The water does the talking. I swear sometimes. "The water does the talking", I said. I swear if he wasn't important to Lizzie, I would have either left or hurt him for being a Dumbass. "Of course", he said. Sure. I rolled my eyes again.

"If the current comes in strange, it might point the way", I said looking back to check on Lizzie. She was talking to Diana. "Okay", he said. Can't he leave already? I want to be alone. I watched as he was about to leave. Thank god. Maybe I celebrated too early, because he turned around again. Fuck. Seriously dude? Your getting on my nerves. What could he want now? "You and Lizzie, is there anything there?", he asked me. He said it with a smirk. I snarled. Nosy little asshole. How is that any of his damn business?

He does not need to know our business. "That's none of your damn business Wayne, now stay out of my damn business", I said snarling at him. He just smirked at me and walked away. I sighed. I don't know how you do it Lizzie. I can barely stand him.

Lizzies POV

I hummed as I waited for my suit to wash in the washer. I was in the fancy laundry room, and let me tell you, it's freaking fancy. Way to go Bruce. You almost have everything, just missing one thing. A girlfriend. I was washing my suit in cold and bleach. Good thing my suit is white. Maybe the bleach can take out the blood stains. I really need to rethink my choices of suit colors. Maybe I should go black instead like Bruce. So the blood stains don't show. I sat down on the drier to wait for my suit to wash. I then heard a knock on the laundry room door. I looked up and saw Diana in the doorway.

I smiled. "Hey Diana", I said greeting her with a smile. She smiled back at me. She walked over and sat down on the other end of the washer. "How about we talk about this "girl talk" am I saying that right?", she asked. I giggled at how she worded it. "Yeah you got it right, whatcha wanna know?", I asked her. She swung her feet back and forth softly. "So I have to know, do you feel something for Arthur?", she asked me. I nearly chocked on my saliva. Well okay then. "I have no idea what your talking about", I said trying to play it off. She just smirked at me. "I see the way you look at him and the way he looks at you. I'm not blind Lizzie", she said. I sighed. "Damn, I guess you caught me", I said swinging my feet back and forth.

"So tell me about it", she said. "Well I guess it won't hurt to tell you. I'm just going in and saying it, we're soulmates and we have been for years, we've been seeing each in our dreams, and the other day was our first time meeting in person", I said. She looked at me shocked but with a smile on her lips. "And?", she asked me. I shrugged. "I mean Diana look at what's happening, steppenwolf is out there, planning on killing us, and if he were to get hurt or die, I don't know what I would do. I'm scared to lose you, he says I won't lose him, but how can he be so sure? He can't control these types of things. And to answer your question, I do feel something for Arthur, something big, I have since we were little kids. But for so long, I've been afraid, of losing him. Because he is the only one that's been on my side since the beginning, and if I were to lose him, I would break", I said as tears welled up in my eyes.

She walked over to me and hugged me. "You got to take risks Lizzie, he was made for you and you were made for him. That's how this type of thing works. You can't push him away. Not now, your both going to need each other through this and when you get through this together and end it, you'll both be alive and be able to be happy together. Don't be scared to ask for help or tell him how you feel", she said. I sniffled and smiled at her. "thanks Diana", I said softly. She smiled and nodded. "That's what friends are for", she said patting my shoulder.

I didn't even catch the peering eyes that were watching us. (Arthur)

And soon the washer beeped. Telling us my suit was done being washed. We both laughed. I wiped my eyes of tears. I got off of the drier. And walked over to the washer. I opened the washer and grabbed my suit. A smile grew on my lips. Yes! No stains! I did my little happy dance. I heard Diana leave. Hmm. I put my suit in the drier. Was she right? Can we be happy after this? Will we actually live through this? Can we really be happy? I really hope so. I'll be crossing my fingers for this.
