Giant rats

Mikey then ran out, so I ignored that and labled it as Mikey being himself, when we decided to go into the kitchen, me and Casey were talking about rats. "Are you scared of them??" Casey asked me confused, I shrug my shoulders "maybe, I don't know. I mean, I don't like them- one time I found a mouse in my gramma's house and I ran screaming. So maybe I am-" I stopped myself when I noticed the way Mikey's looking..... like he's kissing something. "Mikey" Leo says, making Mikey slam the freezer door shut as he looks at us with wide eyes.

My eyebrows are furrowed as I tilt my head confused, I look at Donnie and Casey to see their reactions, but Casey is smirking so I scoff. Then he looks at me, so I playfully hit his shoulder mumbling "idiot" he smirks at me more. "I'd be your idiot if ya let me" Casey responded, so I blush and look away as I nervously whistle. A low growl is what I hear, but I didn't bother to see who it was since we all seen Master Splinter. "Need ice.. for my head.... and possibly.. a cheesicle" Master Splinter says tiredly.

Looking I wait for Mikey to move, but he says "you can't do that! No, sensei" as he shut the door on him, but my eyes widen at this. "'No'..... you tell me 'no'??" Master Splinter asks as he closes his eyes and when he opens them... they're red. His scream was loud as he hit Mikey, I don't like seeing him like this as I gasp and take a step back. I don't even bother watching the scene unfold as I go close to the counter and hold my knees tight. Casey had the same idea as he sits by me saying "this does not help my whole 'rat' thing."

Then he sees how I'm reacting as we see Master Splinter run past us upset, so I hold myself tighter as he also puts his arm around my shoulders. I don't bother even looking anymore, I put my head in my arms as I lean into Casey's hold out of fear. "Help him!" Leo yells, but I don't bother looking to see what he meant as I start shaking a bit. "I've got what I came for, soon New York.. and the world will be mine" Master Splinter says. That got my shaking more, but I hear something drop, so Casey mumbles "I think it's good now."

With that we both peer over the counter "Master Splinter, are you okay??" "What happened?!" Leo and April ask him worriedly. He responds with "the Rat King has returned" a cold chill went down my spine at the name alone. "R-Rat King??" Casey asks, so we go into the living room and turn on the tv, watching the news. It shows rats.... nothing but rats as far as the eye can see as they running around and hurt people. "I'm reporting live from Baker Street(?): where giant rats have emerged from the sewers" the news reporter says.

The giant rats is what's getting me, I'm watching as they tear up cars behind her, feeling myself grow cold as I watch scared. "These revolting rodents are snatching people away on this edition of: Grody to the Max" then she gets tackled by mutliple tiny rats. The last thing we see is a small rat with red eyes as the camera gives out, I hug myself out of fear. "No..... there can not be a thing such as a giant rat-" I cut myself off when I looked at Master Splinter. "There can not be a thing such as mindless giant rats!" I say scared, not really helping Casey.

"G-Giant rats..... giant.. rats" Casey says as he sits next to me, to try helping I pat his shoulder saying "maybe you should sit this one out." As the guys and Master Splinter talk I just listen to Casey and April "she's right Casey, you look pale." Casey looks up at April, then back to me as he says "she looks like she did when we fought those mushrooms. I'm not sitting anything out, not when my friends and this city could use my help" I smile a little. "Thanks" is all I say as we start preparing ourselves for going to save some people up top.

Leo told me to go with Casey to help him, since he's going to be on his bike by himself "what?!" Both me and Donnie ask upset. "You're pairing up the two people who are scared of the rats?!" Both me and Donnie ask again. Leo nods his head "yeah, since you have a power that can help out as he only has tools he built himself. Not to mention I'll be fine by myself and so will everyone else" I glare at Leo and stick my tongue out at him. Casey looked at me asking "is there something wrong with me??" I shake my head "no, there's something wrong with most rats."

With that we left before Master Splinter could scold or hit me and begin going at a fast pace to avoid any rats from getting us. We all agreed on Mikey being bait with cheese on his head as me and Casey come in and distract some of them. As he rides, I sit while looking behind us as he hits one upside the head and rides away. "You got his attention now!" I yell as it, with another rat, run after us angrily to get us. I bite my lip and say "Casey, you might want to pedal faster!" He nods his head "I know. I know!"

As Casey pedals we see the Shellrazor go on its side "guys, a little help?!" "We'll distract some of them since we're, oh I don't know, basically in plain sight!" I yell upset. Looking at a rat I see how close its getting "Casey, don't you have anything that can help?!" I asked scared. He looks and nods his head "yeah, I do!" And he pushed a button that made marbles come out. The rat fell, but when I looked ahead of us I see about two or three more giant rats running around. Then he gets some type of torch to go off as he rides, but there's three that aren't scared of it.
