Chapter 16: Just Do It

After the call, Sofia texted (Y/N) about her hotel address. After 30 minutes, Sofia, along with Hansol, helped (Y/N) collect her things. They also offered to help (Y/N) pay for the hotel fees but she kindly declined. It was embarrassing to let them pay especially when she's staying at their house.

When they arrived at their place. (Y/N) greeted Mr. and Mrs. Chwe and thanked them for accepting her like their own child. They catched up until dinner time.

"Sooo (Y/N), got an eye on a specific guy?" asked Mrs. Chwe, as she looks at (Y/N) with a huge smile on her face.
"Uhm.. Not really. Although I have a lot of guy friends, there's no one in particular I think I like." (Y/N) answered.
"Well, not YET that is. I mean come on! You got, I don't know, five groups of attractive guys?" Sofia jabbers.
"Four, actually, plus those groups contains my friends." (Y/N) objected at Sofia's idea.
Sofia thinks for a while and continued "Not even that Stray Kids maknae?"
"Who? Jeong In?" asked (Y/N) to which Sofia just hummed yes.
"He's my bestfriend."
"Aaaaand? I mean come on! Isn't that how most relationships start?" Sofia argued.
"Uhm.. Sofia? I think that's enough grilling for the day." Mr. Chwe then changes the topic until their done eating.

Before going to sleep, (Y/N)'s phone rang. It was Sanha. He was inviting her to hang out. Sneakily, Sofia peeked at (Y/N)'s phone.

"And I thought you're not interested in any of them." Sofia giggled.
"He's a friend, Sofia." (Y/N) said in the most serious tone as possible.
"Why don't you just try to flirt a little bit?" Sofia said, as she sat beside (Y/N).
"I don't know how..."
"SO YOU DO WANT TO!" Sofia laughs then tried to take (Y/N)'s phone.
"I'll help you, don't worry." Sofia successfully took the poor girl's phone.
"No thank you." (Y/N) said they snatched the phone away.
"Come on~" Sofia pleaded only to receive a sigh.
"Fine. In one condition." Sofia's eyes lit up from this and asked what the condition was.
"I'll do it my way. You shouldn't intervene with any of it. I'll be only telling you if I decided to stay friends with them or not." (Y/N) said while typing on her phone to reply to Sanha.
"Fine. Fine." Sofia then turned the lights off.

"Should I really flirt with Sanha? I mean... We just met and I don't even know if he'll be interested in me." (Y/N) thought to herself then closed her eyes.

"Sofia?" Asked (Y/N).
"Hmm?"
"Thank you for taking me in and being my friend."
"No worries. As long as you flirt with Sanha." Sofia joked.
"Oh my god."
