Chapter 9: Cheer Up

Meanwhile...

When Jeongin got back in their dorm, his hyungs are smiling at him.
"So, how's the date?" Woojin asked.
"It wasn't a date. We were with Sanha hyung." Jeongin said with a frown on his face. Chan and Jisung looked at each other, they knew something happened back there.
"Jeongin?" Chan asked calmly.
"Hmm?" Jeongin hummed.
"Be honest. What happened?" Jisung asked. They looked at Jeongin worriedly.
"It's nothing." Jeongin sat quietly, trying to avoid their questions.
"We know something's wrong."

"Alright." Jeongin said then took a deep breath.
"I think Sanha hyung likes (Y/N)." Jeongin finally said. They stayed quiet after.
"Why do you think so?" Felix asked.
"The way he looked at her and, and the way he talks, the way he smiled, everything." Jeongin said, frustrated.

"You're jealous?" Changbin asked. Jeongin's ears turned red as a tomato.
"N-No! Wh-Why would I?" Jeongin looked down, trying to avoid eye contact.
"Plus, she's not even mine." Jeongin frowned. Chan smiled faintly.
"Hey, I know it's hard but you have known (Y/N) longer than you know us. So, maybe, confess your feelings for her." Chan said slowly, making sure Jeongin doesn't freak out.
"I don't know hyung. I mean, I don't want our friendship to be ruined by my feelings." Jeongin worriedly said.
"I'm sure (Y/N) won't do such thing. She's a nice person, isn't she?" Chan asked, smiling at Jeongin.
"Yeah, she's really, really nice." Jeongin smiled.
"Thanks hyung." Jeongin said, hugging Chan tightly.
"No problem, bro." Chan hugs back, smiling brightly.

"I'll confess my feelings to her when the time is right. For now, I'll make her happy." Jeongin thought. He smiled then let go of Chan.
"I gotta make her feel like she's special to me." Jeongin thought once again.

(Y/N)'s POV

As I was walking back, I accidentally bump into someone, losing grip on my camera. I fell on my butt, it freaking hurts like hell.
"Ah, Joisonghamnida." The guy said, helping me stand on my feet.
"It's fine, I wasn't even careful myself." I said, slightly embarrassed.
"Oh, uhm. You look beautiful." He complemented, handing me my camera.
"Ahh.. Thank you." I said shyly as I took it from him.
"You could be on our music video someday. Oh, and we're actually filming right now, that's why I was running." He explained.
"Is that so? I guess I'll search for your music later." I said.

"Oh, I'm Choi Seungcheol by the way. I'm in a group called Seventeen."
"I'm (Y/L/N) (Y/N), also known as (YT/N), I'm a YouTuber." I introduced.
"(Y/L/N) (Y/N)? I heard that name somewhere, I just can't remember where."
"There are probably a lot of (Y/L/N) (Y/N)." I laughed.
"Coups hyung!!" someone called out.
"Ahh they're looking for me. Can I have your number incase of casting for our video?" Seungcheol asked. I nod slowly, giving him my number. He also gave his number to me. Then he left. I continued to walk for me to arrive my hotel room.

When I got back, I plopped on my bed, tired. Suddenly, I remembered someone.
"Hmm... Wonder how's Sofia and Hansol been doing." I whispered.
Though I'm tired, I couldn't sleep at all. So, I decided to look for the group that Seungcheol was on, Seventeen, isn't it?

I was watching and listening to "Adore U" when I suddenly saw someone familiar. I rewind then I saw him again.
"Hansol." I said, tears slightly fell as I was staring at the paused screen.
"He achieved my dream." I said once again.

I could still remember the time when I told them I would bring them to my concerts, guess I was wrong. It was actually Hansol that was going to debut, not me. I felt proud but also jealous. I mean, Jinyoung oppa, Jeongin oppa, and now Hansol oppa, they debuted then here I am, a YouTuber, didn't even got into auditions when I tried.

I continued to watch their music videos until my phone received a message. It was from Seungcheol.

Hey! It's me Seungcheol. Turns out you were actually the (Y/L/N) (Y/N) I heard about. Apparently, one of my members recognised you when we watched your video. He was asking me if he could talk to you, is it fine with you?

Sure! Also, I watched your music videos. The songs are so good! I could listen to it all day long.

Of course I could remember! How could I not? I'm glad I bumped into Seungcheol, or else we wouldn't have talked or see each other.

Yeah, what a great coincidence. Also, Seungcheol hyung is older than you, show some respect. :-P

He looked young, like a chingu.
