Chapter 7- Secrets Uncovered

~Loke's POV~

We've been on the train for about an hour and (Y/N) has already fallen asleep, she looks so cute when she's sleeping. Wait, what?! What am I thinking?! She probably only sees me as a friend, besides she's way out of my league. I was suddenly ripped out of my thoughts by something, or should I say someone, hitting my shoulder. I looked to see (Y/N) leaning on me, while holding my arm. I blushed and decided not to wake her up until we have arrived.

*time skip*

~Your POV~

I ran through the woods holding my arm trying to get away, my lungs screaming for oxygen as I did so. 'But I have to keep running,' I thought 'if I stop now, I will never get away.' A large town came into my view as I let out a sigh of relief. I stopped and leaned against a nearby tree to catch my breath, only to be yanked to the ground by my (h/l), (h/c) hair. I yelped in pain and tried to wriggle free, but it only made him grip my hair harder.

"Stop squirming you misbehaved, useless, slut!" He growled "This is what you deserve for trying to run from me!" He threw me against a tree and whipped me until I was badly bruised. I couldn't hold back my tears any longer, they streamed down my face, as if I were trying to cry me a river to escape.

"P-please stop." I pleaded, but it sounded raspy and exhausted. He just laughed and looked into my (e/c) eyes. They were filled with pain, fear and just a hint of hope.

"Baka!" He began, "Your nothing but a puny, weak celestial spirit. You mean nothing! That is why no one coming to save your useless ass!" He shoved a dagger in my side as I hissed in pain. He shoved me to the side and laughed once more in my face. His evil aura seemed to have grown darker as he looked at my body. He began to walk away laughing hysterically, like he had accomplished something.

*dream over*

"(Y/N)? (Y/N) wake up. We are here wake up." A voice said. I was suddenly shaken awake from my horrid nightmare by gentle hands and a soft voice. The voice seemed familiar. I shot awake in a cold sweat and tears were streaming down my (s/c) skin. I looked up through my watery eyes and saw Loke standing over me with a concerned look in his eyes. I quickly wrapped my arms around him in a tight embrace and began to cry in the crook of his neck.

"(Y/N) it's okay, everything is fine. You are safe now." He said stroking my hair. "Now let's go. The others are waiting for us outside."

"Hai." I said wiping my tears. We grabbed our luggage and made our way outside and towards the others. Lucy and Wendy looked at me with concerned eyes but I gave them a reassuring smile. We continued to the hotel to check in and sleep. Natsu had disappeared to the front desk while everyone started their own conversations. Loke pulled me aside, I assumed to talk about what had happened earlier, and turned out I was right.

"Hey, what happened on the train? Why were you crying?" He asked, looking in my eyes.

"It was nothing. Just a regular nightmare." I lied, trying to dismiss they topic. I suddenly found my feet interesting.

"Look, you and I both know that is a lie. Now, tell me what happened." He said, lifting my chin between his forefingers.

I looked down again and told him everything, except the fact that I was a celestial spirit. He looked bewildered yet angered at the same time.

"I can't believe he did that to you." He hissed. I was about to speak when Natsu called everyone together.

"Okay everyone, I have our rooms and room mates arranged for the rest of the trip." Natsu began, waving a piece of paper, and the room keys in his hand. Gray snatched the paper and quickly read through it a few times.

"Okay, so it goes, Natsu, Happy and Lucy, Romeo, Wendy and Carla, Loke and (Y/N) and Juvia and I." Gray announced. He threw everyone their key and walked off with Juvia to their room. I blushed and mentally cursed Natsu for making me roommates with Loke. Can this day get any worse?!
