"Excuse me, could I ask you a quick question?" I spoke, all five of them stopping their conversation to look at me. I started to get a little self conscious, each and every one of them had an aura that just screamed confidence. Mine wasn't as nearly as much as theirs, seeing as I'm new and know no one here."Uh yeah, are you new here?" The fair haired girl asked, giving me a small smile. I nodded my head, making eye contact with everybody as I also gave a slight wave to say hello. "Just arrived yesterday." I informed.
"Oh, really? Well, I'm Sabrina! This is Roz, Harvey, Theo, and Robin!" She introduced herself, pointing at said person as she went around the group, and they each gave their own signature grin.
"Hi, it's nice to met you guys! I'm Y/N." I returned the friendly gestures, really feeling as though I've just made some new and amazing friends. "But, yeah, I have no idea where my locker or classes are so could any of you help me?"
"Of course!" The girl named Roz said, and everyone agreed with her. Sabrina took my schedule, reading it over.
"You know, Greendale might be a small town but I think you're really gonna like it here. It's a gem!" Roz beamed.
"Yeah, I think I am... for a small town this is a big school." I laughed. It looked like Theo was about to say something, but the ringing sound of a bell interrupted him. Students were scrambling through the halls with books in their hands.
"We gotta go, see you later Y/N! Come on Roz." Harvey took her palm in his, and they both waved goodbye before leaving. Theo and Robin did the same, leaving me alone with Sabrina.
"I miss my classes all the time so I can help you, they're always excused." She winked at me.
Huh, intriguing. I wonder why she misses them?
"Thanks, Sabrina, I really appreciate it."
I followed her a few steps down the corridor to my locker, I put in the combination and voila!
"So your first class is history, and if I'm not mistaken you actually have it with Theo!" Sabrina stated. She told me about my other classes and if I shared any with them, which I did. Multiple classes I had with all five of them, putting my nerves at ease. We stopped by my first period and told my teacher that Sabrina would be showing me around the school, and he was completely fine with it.
She was talking about all the classes and where everything was, then we kinda strayed off of the topic and into another one.
"If you don't mind me asking, which house did you move into?" She asked, glancing at me.
"It's some huge, old house in the middle of the woods. It's white and kinda spooky if you ask me." I told her, still eyeing all of the posters on the walls and lockers.
"You moved into the Murder House?"
"I'm sorry, the what house?"
"Oh, don't worry, no one actually died there. It used to be a fake haunted attraction during the fall and Halloween. But, hey! It's only like 5 minutes from my place! All you gotta do is walk left from your house and you'll end up at mine."
I nodded, my mouth forming an 'O' shape. I'm glad to hear that nobody was murdered in my new place of residence, but it was still unsettling to know it was something like that beforehand.
"So what do your parents think of it here?" She suddenly questioned after a few seconds of silence.
"My dad is super excited, absolutely loves it here. My mom isn't around anymore, she left us when I was a baby. This is actually her hometown."
