His head felt light, his cheek touching something soft while his eyes struggled to open.

Sun was peaking through the blinds of his hospital room, making him squint harder.

He slowly sat up on the bed, taking a few short breaths before searching around the empty room for the only person he wanted to see right now.

You.

He needed to know that you were safe, away from Seokjin and that you still trusted him. He would do anything for you, anything to prove his love for you.

But you were unfortunately nowhere to be found.

He lied back down before hearing the door open, wishing it was you but coming face to face with a tiger hybrid nurse instead.

"Hello, Mr. Jeon. How are you feeling?" she asked as her hand quickly noted something down on a small writing pad.

"I feel fine.." he replied honestly. "Did I maybe have any.. guests?" Jungkook asked nervously, hoping that you had come to visit him and see how he was but also knowing how much he had hurt you with his actions.

"I'm afraid no one has come to visit you yet, sir."

Jungkook's heart dropped.

"But, you've only been here for a couple of hours so I'm sure your family will be notified soon!" the nurse smiled kindly to him before turning around and walking out of his room.

I wonder what Y/n is doing.. How she's feeling... he thought while biting his lower lip.

Fate seemed to be kind to him, however, as his answers would soon be answered because right at that moment the door opened again and you walked in, looking as beautiful as he remembered.

"Y-Y/n.." he managed to say, his mouth suddenly running dry.

"Hello, Jungkook.. I hope you feel better. The nurses told me you healed pretty quickly.. Must be the hybrid genes.." you smiled, trying to lighten up the mood.

"I'm fine, Y/n, but.. But that's not what I want to talk about." he answered truthfully and begged you with his eyes to listen to what he had to say.

"Jungkook.. I was so scared, so fucking scared of losing you yesterday.. I didn't even know what to else to do except hit that bastard on the head... If you died I would.. I'd go crazy..."

Jungkook stood up from the bed and slowly approached you, the white hospital clothes barely covering his body.

He extended his arm towards you and grabbed your own hand in his, his fingers tracing your palm as he looked into your eyes with a peaceful expression.

"Y/n, stop thinking like that.. I'm alive and well, so there's no need to worry. To be honest with you, I thought you'd never want to see me again, much less save me from certain death. What I did to you was horrible, Y/n.. I basically took your trust and stepped on it, completely disregarding our bond."

"It's true that you really hurt me, but I can't stop thinking about you even if I tried.. My feelings for you just can't disappear.. I love you too much to be able to forget you. And I know that you were in heat, I know how heat affects hybrids and their ability to think straight. I've studied it for years.. So I respect the fact that you were at least able to stop Irene before things got too far..." you said as your other hand softly caressed his cheek.

Jungkook's eyes got teary as the fire inside of them burned bright, his voice quiet.

"B-But, I still hurt you. I still let her touch me and I regret it every single fucking day... I could never forget the look of disappointment and pure sadness on your face. I want to tell you I'm sorry a million times over, but even that wouldn't be enough.."

You sighed, your eyes following the tear running down his left cheek and your hand immediately brushing it away.

"Jungkook, what you did was wrong but understandable. You cannot control yourself when you're in heat, and your mate was not there to help you in your time of need. I'm sorry too because I should've fought more for you from the very start but I didn't. I succumbed to my fear and let Seokjin manipulate me..."

Jungkook put his hands around your waist and hugged you close to him, his face burried in your neck as he breathed in your scent.

"I guess we're both idiots.." you said while smiling softly.

"Yes we are.. Fuck, Y/n, I love you so much..."

Your smile got bigger as you felt his hold on you tightening.

"I love you too Jungkook, my mate."

Jungkook could feel his heart beating loudly at your words, the dragon inside of him wanting to keep you close to him forever.

"My mate. Mine. Always." he growled softly.

"Always."

Kim Namjoon could not believe what was happening.

His life could seriously not get any worse than this.

He could feel the ringing in his head and the intense pain all over his back, his left leg hanging in a straight line on top of his body, closed in a tight white cast.

"Fuck." he muttered as the petite nurse worked quickly and silently around him, making sure that everything was in order.

"Chill, boss.. You know it could be worse..." a bored voice said.

"Oh yeah, Yoongi?! Explain to me how, please! Urgh!" Namjoon groaned, accidentally moving his broken leg a bit too much from the anger going through his body.

"Well, you could've been homeless and without any food to eat but look at the bright side.. Now you have a room, you have food.. You even have roomates!" Yoongi replied, barely holding in his laughter.

"You fucking piece of shit, you call other inmates fucking roommates?! Are you nuts?! My whole company is filled with idiots!" the man yelled.

Yoongi sat back down on his chair, too bored to make a comment and possibly rile Namjoon up even more.

"And you, you worthless scumbag, I hope we get to be roommates in prison so that I get to punch your stupid looking face every single day!" Namjoon growled while looking at the man lying on the hospital bed next to him.

Seokjin could do nothing but stare at the white wall in front of him, however, his thoughts filled with a certain dragon hybrid and his ex fiancé.

I will not stand for this disrespect.. ,he bitterly thought.

You will pay for this.. I'll make sure of it, lizard...
