Chapter 5: 500 days of winter

                        *~Alice's P.O.V.~*

     I propped a chair against the door just in case someone tried to come into my room. I set up everything and started to bath. I was nice to bath again. A few minutes later I went out of the bin I was bathing in. I changed in to my black ripped skinny jeans and my green day concert shirt.

         I took one step into the hallway and someone grabbed my arm. I looked over and saw Michael.  “What is it Michael?” I asked. He looked into my eyes and kissed me! I looked down and started to blush. Michael started to guide me to the stage. He opened the doors and there was; Luke with a guitar, Calum, Michael with a guitar and Ashton with a cajón. “Take a seat Alice” Ashton said. I sat in the front. Ashton started to drum. Luke and Michael started to strum. I immediately realized what the song was. It was “I miss you” by Blink 182. I started to lip sync the lyrics. When they finished the song I started to clap. 

       “You guys are a band?” I asked. 

        “Yeah, we were going to be called 500 days of winter.” Ashton said. 

        “I think it should be 5 seconds of summer.” Michael said.

         "I like that actually" Luke said

        “So you’re a boy band?” I said. 

       “No, we’re punk-rock!” Michael said. 

       “No, we’re not.” Calum said while we all giggled. 

       “It’s bedtime kids.” Ashton said while rubbing his hands together. We all got up and went to the room where Calum set up the beds. 

      “Good night, everyone!” I shouted.

        I woke up to Michael singing. “Why are you so loud?” I groaned why shoving a pillow to him. 

     “I was born this way.” Michael sang. 

    “Guys, Ashton said to get ready and grab your stuff, we’re leaving.” Luke said. Michael started to pack the blankets and pillows. I walked to a different room to change.  When I finished, I put all my stuff into my bag. I was walking out to the car to load it up. 

    “So we will sneak in and ambush them…” a man ordered. I dropped all my stuff and ran back inside the school. I found everyone.

      “They’re here!” I said trying to remain calm. 

    “Forget the stuff we are leaving.” Calum ordered. Even though Calum said not to bring any thing, I brought my pistol.

      We all were trying to leave the school before they get in. I felt someone grab my wrist. I was pretty sure it was Michael. I turned around and it wasn’t Michael. I let out a shriek.  The boys turned around and the guy pulled me close to him. 

     “Nobody moves!” man shouted while holding a gun to my head. Michael looked like he was one the verge of tears. The man started to explain something to the boys. I started to reach for my pistol. Luke saw what I was doing and so he started to distract the man. I finally got the gun and tried to aim for his foot or something. I shot his shin. He let me go and grabbed his leg. I shot him in the head and grabbed his walkie-talkie. The doors were right there. 

      “We heard a gun fire. Are you okay?” I woman said through the walkie-talkie. Ashton took the walkie-talkie.

       “Yes I am okay. They’re escaping through the back door though.” Ashton said while trying to sound like the man. 

      “Okay, we are heading there right now.” The woman said. We went through the front doors. We ran into a backyard of an abandoned house.

        “We will wait here until the cost is clear.” Michael said. 

      Ten minutes later, we were pretty sure they were gone. We went to an abandoned car parked in a driveway. I picked the locks and Calum hotwired the car. We were finally one our way. I start to fiddle with my fingers and Michael placed his arm around my shoulders. We have been on the road for about thirty minutes.

    “Well at least we have the Walkie-talkies.” I said trying to break the silence.

    “Okay we can stay here.” Calum said while pulling up to a mall. I went to pick the malls lock, it was open.  We all walked in. Michael grabbed my hand and weaved his fingers with mine. We all started to hear voices. I turned to the boys.

    “They can’t be here.” I said while feeling like I was going to fall down.
