Car Driver's POV

"Mom, I'm pulling into school right now. I have to hang up."

"But I'm still not yet done scolding you about the mess in your room and the fact that you don't eat breakfast in the morning before you leave for school."

I rolled my eyes at what my mom said.
She was just like any other mother who was concerned for her child or children and also disappointed about the state of their room and not doing their chores.

I loved her dearly.

"Mom, I'm literally pulling up in school now."

"I hope your not speeding."

"I'm not. I know what the speed limit is while your driving in school. I'm not a idiot." I lied to her effortlessly.

I was late for school (third time this month) and I wanted a good parking space. So I was basically doing 80 miles per hour in a 30 miles per hour driving limit.

I looked down at my phone and said
"Bye mom. See you at home. Love you."
And I hung up the phone.

I looked back up to see a girl run straight in front of my car and like a dear she seized up in front of the headlights.

It happened too fast. I immediately pressed my horn and the breaks simultaneously. But there wasn't enough time for me to stop, as the car came inches to her then......

BAM!!!

I'd hit her.

I hit her with my car.

I hit a girl with my car.

I pressed down harder on the brakes and as soon as the car wasn't in motion I jumped out and ran to her.

"Are you okay." I asked as I knelt down beside her.

The crowd grew thick with students and teachers in a matter of seconds.

I examined her. Her head was bleeding profusely and her right arm was broken. I didn't know if anything was wrong with her internally.

But you can't blame me, I'm no doctor.

I looked her in the eye and saw them slowly close.

"Shit." I muttered to myself.

Well my parole is over. Back to juvi I presume.

Or is it prison this time.

Authors POV

Amanda was scared.

She stood still in the middle of the road, awaiting the hit of the car and the pain and suffering that would follow.
Her mind was frozen in shock and so was her feet.

It was like the scene was in slow motion but at the same time, it was going too fast for her.

Then Bam!!

The car had connected with Amanda, throwing her back in the air.

Her curly brown heir flying around her in a bliss as she spined in the air.

It was as if she was flying. But as soon as that thought came to her, it vanished as she had stop 'flying'.

She hit the wall that was opposite the drive way with a loud thud and crunch. The front of her head had hit the wall the hardest.

The moment the car had hit her, pain had erupted in her body, but now, the pain was excruciating.

As said before, to Amanda, the scene was going in slow-mo but at the same time, it was going too fast for her.

But for everyone else, it went at a moderate speed but was still to fast for anyone to actually help her.

Screams and yells split the atmosphere in half as students and teachers started to surround her, including the car driver.

Amanda gasp for air but every breath would hurt her more. Tears started to well up in her eyes and spill down the side of her face, only to mingle with the heavy blood that was bleeding from her forehead.

The pain was excruciating but then her sight was interrupted by tiny white dots that grew quickly and viciously as they devoured her eye sight and soon, Amanda was taken away by the deep depths of darkness.

I don't know why but I actually liked writing this chapter.

I know, I'm cruel.

I should have made a Prince Charming jumped out of nowhere and saved Amanda from this disastrous accident, but where's the fun in that.😈😈😈

Plus, life doesn't always go the way you want it to go.

Anyhoo
