She found herself in a room that was white, down to the smallest fixure—from the fan, to the clock, to the floor, to the door, even she was white and she was sitted on an equally white chair.

"Hello, is anyone there?" Adriel whispered softly. Not long after she spoke, the air became heavy and it suddenly become very hard to breathe.

She saw it at first as a small dot on the door, the inky black spot soon began to spread. The white began turning a sickly black, the darkness corrupted everything around her. The air was becoming even more suffocating and she couldn't breathe. She was gasping for air. Soon the darkness had spread out around her feet and slowly it had begun climbing up her leg and the chair she sat on.

Whimpering, she tried to stand but it seemed the darkness had paralysed her. It invaded her more, perverting her. The room itself was pitch black now and she could hardly breathe.

"God." She gasped out. She felt a ricocheting from deep inside of her and something dark and ancient was threatening to tear her insides open. She screamed out at the searing pain.

'Shut up.' A sound resounded from the pitch darkness and it chilled her to the bones.

Breathing hard, her hand tried to scramble for the cross around her neck. It hung untouched by the darkness. But her hands were stiff as boards beside her. Tears leaked from her eyes and she found that her tears were black as well.

She choked as the darkness got into her mouth, descending into her throat. She gasped out.

She tried to scream, but her mouth only hung open, no words coming out her throat.

It was already consuming her.

No! This can't be happening!

"Adriel." She heard his voice. The voice was beautuful, so full of life, but He sounded so far away.

She was shaking but she held on to that shred of light like her life depended on it.

"Jesus." She called out desperately.

Immediately, the darkness receeded back, as far as the door, staining it a sickly black.

She heard a disembodied shriek echo throughout the room.

"He can't save you."

"I'm already in, and I'm here to stay." The voice said.

Adriel gasped awake, eyes wide.

"I remember." She remembered. She remembered her dream, the first dream since the accident. Her eyes quickly did a quick sweep of the room she was in. It wasn't hers.

Only then did she realize that she was naked under the sheets. She bit her lip, guilt building in her belly.

The shower was on and she knew Jayden would be back any minute. Instinctively, her hand went to her neck remembering last night but she was perfectly fine. She must have had a little too much too drink.

She was just about getting up when the shower stopped and he entered the room. He was wrapped in only a towel and not being able to help it, her eyes wandered up and down his body. She was no longer a virgin and seeing his naked body only reminded her of last night. She bit her lip, she had to leave.

"Adriel, you're awake." He came to stand by his bed which held her in it.

"I need to go." She quickly said. She wrapped the sheets around her and got off the bed. His brow furrowed slightly in confusion.
