My mother comes into my room(in the hospital) and explains to me that we have a reservation in a hotel downtown. Nampa is a small town but it has nice people who genuinely care about you. The hotel was kind of big and was called Sleep Inn. That is the best name for a hotel to be honest. Since we don't have much, because most of it was burned, moving in was easy and quick. The room was on the 4th floor. It was painted a nice tan and had a few paintings on the walls. There were two beds, a couch with a pull out, one bathroom, and two TV's. I am thankful that there are two TV's instead of one because my little brother Matt, and my big sister Mari always fight over who gets to watch what, and when. Although Mari and I do usually agree to watch something like American Dad or Family Guy. Matt isn't allowed to watch those because he is only seven. Mari is 15 like me, we are twins.
My siblings and I sit down on the couch waiting for Mom and Dad to finish. When they do they come and stand under the doorway look as if they are going to give a big speech. Guess what? I was right.
My father starts first and says " I know all of this is hard and that you are sad, angry, and probably a bunch of different emotions, but, we will get through this. Even though we are in a small room all bunched up together, we still have to try and not annoy and pick on each other for the sake of your mother and I's sanity."
My mother adds on with "And, the same rules still apply even though we are in a different setting. We are going to start looking for houses this weekend. Mari and Ryan, if you want to come you can, you don't have to. Let's all remember that we all love each other and we will get through this."
After they finished that I decide to go down to the lobby to get a cup of tea since it is free, might as well.
