I step out into the hallway and make my way back to the lobby with Navi by my side. I can hear my parents in the lobby talking so I speed up. Navi followed without question. I see my mother and father with Mari and Matt. My mother is holding a small piece of paper that looks like a business card but I can't see what it says because I am too far away.
"Ryan, you are just in time. Who is this?" she says referring to Navi.
"This is Navi. Navi this is my mother, father, twin sister Mari, and little brother Matt." I say. She gave me a look that I couldn't figure out what it meant.
"It's a pleasure to meet you all. I am in room 407. My family and I moved in here about 3 days ago." Navi replied politely. I didn't know she had been here for 3 days. I didn't know she even lived here at all, then again why would she be here.
"Well Navi, I hope you and Ryan become good friends. We have some errands to run so maybe he will see you when we get back." My mother says with a hopeful smile. I guess she just wants me to be happy considering what just happened.
Navi waves goodbye and walks towards the elevator. I hope that I do see her when we get back. My father motions for the family to follow him out of the lobby to the car in the front parking lot. When we get in the car my father gives the whole be respectful and remember our manners thing and then starts driving.
Hey when you get back meet me by the vending machine, I need to test you on a few things.
What the heck? How did she get in my head? I think I might be going crazy. I'll figure it out when we get back to the hotel.
