He narrated everything to the detective as he tried to remember every detail possible. The blow to his head must have really come from a big and heavy object to render him this unstable and in pain. Struggling for words, he added one more thing that could be of help in finding her. Sir, I still have one of the letters from the anonymous psycho. Probably we could retrieve it, take it to the mailman that had delivered the package to her, inspect their records and trace it to whomever sent it... that's the kidnapper. Well thanks for your help Mister Brandon but you need to rest... I and my men would start investigations immediately.
Three days had passed but it felt like forever. She could barely breathe as she was constantly drugged with little or no food to eat. Tears streamed her face like a fountain of water... she looked like a dump and felt like one. He had forced himself on her countless times... she sobbed as she relieved the horrible ordeal. How she missed him and inwardly hoped he was still alive...' Oh Brandon' she forced the words out of her mouth; would I ever leave his place? she yawned and closed her eyes back to sleep.
The results for the investigation came out and in the process of finding the killer, they suddenly placed the facts together and reached the conclusion that Marcie's abduction was connected to Mike's murder. They informed him and he was shaken from the information he just received. Brandon had pasted her picture on the corner of every street. The cops had put the word out there to report anyone who looked suspicious and dangerous. They had received some prank calls presumed to be from jobless teenagers.
After a week of thorough investigation, the cops received a call from a salesperson at a supermarket reporting a man who he had always observed, frequently purchasing many syringes and dock tape for the past week. They retrieved his biodata and found out that he's been arrested before for sexually harassing a minor and for also stalking a woman plus other charges. He also lived around the area where Marcie was abducted. They've got their man!
Sniper was surprised to see the police show up in the store as they surrounded him. 'Your hands on the air was what the cops said as one of them went behind Sniper and handcuffed him. You're under arrest for the murder of Mike Wallace and the abduction of Marcie Cooper, anything you say or do will be used against you in the Court of Law... you have the right to an attorney if not one would be provided for you by the state government' the cop said as he yanked him up and led him away.
They tortured him severely to reveal where he had Marcie hidden away. He proved stubborn at first refusing to spill anything... after two days of intense torture he spilled out the location he had her locked up. Well that's if you'll find her alive anyway, he laughed wickedly as blood spilled out from his mouth uncontrollably. They called Brandon to inform him about the progress of the investigation and called for backup. They were going on a rescue.
