Dear all,
As many of you know that I have a book written on Mahabharata which is named "My Story : The Voice of Savyasachi". The book is written from the perspective of third Pandava Arjuna.
Recently Mahabharathian group arranged a contest where my friend KeshavaNandini nominated this book of mine. Today I received a message from Mahabharathian that my book does not deserve to be nominated. No reason was specified.
Our conversation went like this:
Alright, I apologise for my mistake first. I should not have said so against a particular fan group as you know that I never did so before in public. But I know well that it is some members of that group who do not like Yudhishthira and I guessed one of them arranged the contest and judged my book as well.
I was sure when I received the last comment. I had been judged by the fact that I write "only about a gambler". Well, I know, Yudhishthira haters do call him by that single word, ignoring all his virtues. But can that be a tool to judge my writing? Or me as a person? That too when the book that was nominated is written on Arjuna, not on the said gambler. Was it right for them to insult a member thus?
I want to know your opinion.
I wrote this post to make everything clear about what I faced. Those in my list of followers who still think I am wrong for writing on a gambler, please feel free to unfollow me.
