Dear Pita,
They say we, your daughters-in-law, have never been fortunate enough to see you. But you know how wrong it is! How can we not see you, you being the very soul of your five sons?
Trust me, Pita, whenever I see paternal love in Dharmaraj's eyes for his brothers, children and subjects, I see you. You live in his benevolence, in Bhima's mighty arms, in Arjuna's focus. From your determination comes the sharpness of Nakula's sword, from your wisdom comes Sahadeva's intellect. How can you ever leave them, Pita?
You have gone nowhere! You are still living in them, the very rewards of your tapasya showered on you by Gods themselves!
Pita, your body made of the five elements has merged back to those panchabhutas. But the five candles that you have lit with your love, those pancha pradipas of yours will keep enlightening the entire Bharatavarsha forever!
My pranam at your feet, Pita!
- Yours ever,
Devika||~Namami Ambalika sutam Namami Pandava janakam~||
