That night, Juno couldn't sleep.

It wasn't unknown for her not to be able to sleep. Nightmares were a real thing, especially because of walkers. But this time it wasn't because of nightmares. She just couldn't fall asleep.

Juno leaned against the wall next to her bed and sighed deeply. She had to get up early the next day; she had volunteered to help with breakfast, but she also knew she wasn't going to be able to fall asleep anytime soon.

She wiped some hair out of her face. Juno winced when she felt her reddened skin. Of course she got sunburnt. Always her luck.

Ever since she was small, there was no way she would get tanned. It was either white, like always, or red. No in between. Her sisters would always laugh at her reddened skin, saying she looked like a crab.

She pulled her knees to her chest and wrapped her arms around them, before leaning her head on her knees.

From what she could see, it was nearly midnight or sometime after. Snores were echoing throughout the prison, proof that everybody was asleep. For some reason, it made her smile.

Juno pulled the blankets off and decided she would get some fresh air and some water, before trying to sleep again.

Her feet connected with the cold floor and she hissed, pulling her feet back. She reached out and grabbed her shoes from beside the bed and put them on, before setting her feet down again.

There was a slight breeze, but her sleeping shirt had long sleeves so she wouldn't get too cold outside. Probably.

To try and be quiet, Juno stuck her head out from her cell, looking around. There was nobody in the hall and the snores kept going, so she decided it was a good time to sneak out now.

She grabbed the flashlight from the table and made her way through the hallways of the prison, listening for any sounds and having the light check every corner.

Juno quietly opened the door that reached the grounds, biting her lip when it creaked and groaned. But no one woke up, so she continued.

The sounds of walkers moaning and snapping their teeth was almost background noise now, but it still made her look around, making sure she was safe.

Before she could decide a spot to sit down, however, she nearly tripped over something, or rather, someone.

"Watch where you're- Oh. Hello, Juno. Sorry."
