Livi is leading the group and Arch is taking up the back, lingering behind and talking to Lila, the woods could be scary so she was keeping Lila calm, She was just naturally good with kids like that. Rome is still asleep and we've walked what has to be at least 5 miles, we're approaching southern native borders. Livi has our back there, the northern and southern tribes are at peace.
She was actually in due part to that, seeing as she was the one to propose peace between the two. Being good friends with the chief of her tribe and his kin had helped her reprise the idea of sending thirteen of theirs down south to make peace with them. It worked out well, and the two had been at due peace sense.
Livi stops and stares back at us. "We're at the border. They will investigate once we have entered, we must stay calm. I will do the talking, You all will be quiet as I do said talking. You don't know their language, and neither their culture so mouths shut- got it" she explains.
We all agree to that and wait just within the border. Soon a group of three approach, all of them getting very exited, and also shocked, at the sight of Livi. One of them running toward her and shouting her name. She immediately recognises the mage running to her.
A young man with curly, shoulder length brown hair, darker toned skin, and green eyes. In almost traditional shadow mage clothing that was the same general materials as livialle's.
She lights up and runs to him, embracing him right away. "TANAKA! oka sturr liaballe ine Roman, haid meke non le Mase, Italia niyk tolobu, kyo maka Italia keios len tokiburu!-" she explains excitable as ever- in another language.
Though she was cut off by the person in front of her. "These are friends? The others who fufil the prophecy? Oh, my dearest star this is amazing! You are amazing. You really found them..." he smiles proudly, he speaks in mage common language, also known as Trade Commoneir.
Livi gets even more excited than before "YOU LEARNED TRADE!?" She half yells her eyes alight with an imbalance of happiness, contrary to her normal lowly tone. He smiles at her and by now the others behind him had caught up.
They all looked in shock at her, asking questions and crowding her. I step forward, prepared to speak but arch puts a webbed hand In front of my face snapping "hellooo anyone home? They don't know who we are idiot, and you were mad at him for supposedly almost getting killed." She points out mockingly.
I sigh, complying and watching as the seemingly leader of the patrol shooed them away. Livi smiled and just hugged the one that had run up to her, I think she called him- Tanaka? Yeah, that sounds right. Oh! That's the boy she talked about! But wouldn't he be in the northern tribes territory?
My thoughts are abruptly halted by an odd sound behind me, sounding oddly close despite the fact that no body was behind me. I then realised after a small whine, and some shifting, that Roman woke up. "It...a...ly?" He questioned quietly. I quickly sat down, pulling him in front of me.
Oh pff- he's so cute. He looked dazed and tired, his eyes were half idded and his hair was a little messy. He was curled up in my arms with no resistance whatsoever, more than a little bit confused, and dizzy, and rubbing his eyes tiredly.
Livi seemed to notice that Rome woke up and walked over "is he ok?" She questions. "Yup, he'll get to his senses on a minute or two." I respond. "Shut up... goddess my head... whe... ooh hec- cough* cough* I'm so done with your existence Italia." He gasps for air coughing more than the amount that would concern me.
Tanaka ran over and asked if he was ok. After a bit of reaffirmation that he'd be ok, Tanaka and the others were convinced. Rome clearly wasn't in the mood for attention so he attempted to get up and he seemed to get why it's a bad idea. He just slumped back down about half an inch up.
