"Kou! You almost done with the popcorn?" You ask Kou.

"Yeah! Don't worry, I'll be done in a minute and then we can start the movie. Did you choose one?" He asks from in the kitchen.

"Yeah! A Silent Voice!" You say excitedly.

"Great! I haven't seen that one before. Isn't it that the one about a girl who is hearing impaired?" He asks.

"I guess!" You respond.

Kou and you had been dating for a few years now. He had confessed to you in High School and you've been together ever since. Every week on Friday you would go over to his house for a movie night, but the last few weeks you've been very busy with work so it's the first movie night in a month.

"Okay, it's ready. Oh! And I got f/s!" He says happily walking into the room with two bowls.

"REALLY?!" You ask excitedly.

"Wow! Someone's excited! You look like a puppy about to be given a treat!" He says sitting beside you on the couch.

You pout, making him chuckle before you press play. He puts his arm around you and pulls you close.

"It's been a wile since we've had a proper date." He says.

"Yeah.. it's nice." You say with a smile.

"Yeah.." he says.

"What's on your mind?" You ask.

"Other then you..?" He asks with a smirk.

"Pffft. Seriously, you're acting less talkative than usual." You imply.

"You think so? Nah! I'm good." He responds.

You continue to watch the movie, making small comments on what's happening every now and then. Soon, you here a sniffle from him.

"Are you crying..? Already?" You ask.

"Hah! No...okay maybe a little! It's sad.. he's so mean to her." He explains.

"If you're crying now then you'll be bawling your eyes out later." You say with a giggle.

"Ohhhh crap." He says "Have you already watched this before?"

"Yeah, it's been a long time though so I don't remember much." You explain.

"Okay. Oh shiz! They about to throw hands!" He exclaims, holding you closer.

You laugh at his enthusiasm "Did you just say 'shiz' Kou?" You ask with a smirk.

"....maybe.." he says.

You both laugh and continue to watch the movie.

"Wait, they're assuming that kid is a boy?" He asks.

"I guess. Can you pass the f/s please?" You ask because for some reason they're out of reach when they should be with you at all times.

"Oh, sure." He says passing the bowl to you.

A little wile later into the movie you had finished the popcorn and f/s. Now you were just laying on top of him, cuddling.

He gasps softly "Wait is she..?"

"Yes." You say beginning to tear up at the current events playing out on the screen.

Kou begins to cry too, a lot more, holding you close.

"Haha.. told you that you would be bawling your eyes out." You say.

"Whatever.." he pouts.

"Cute." you say.

"Let's.. just continue watching the movie." He says blushing a little.

You giggle, making him smile, and focus your attention back to the television.

A little later, the movie finishes and the credits start rolling. You get off of him and then raise your arms as you yawn. He sits up with a sigh.

"What?" You ask.

"I'm just kinda sad our movie night is over." He says with a chuckle.

"Yeah.." you say with a sad smile.

"Y/n..? Can you sit back down for a minute." He asks nervously.

"Sure." You sit back down.

"Y/n, you know I love you.. and..." he begins to thump his foot.

"I love you too.. are you okay Kou..?" He ask a little confused.

"Yeah.." he inhales deeply and the exhales "Y/n l/n, I wanna spend the rest of my life with you... so.." he pulls something out of his back pocket, a small box.

He then gets gets stands up and walks in front of ware you're sitting. He gets down on one knee, holds the box up and opens it.

"Will you marry me?" He asks.

You begin to tear up "Kou, are you serious?" You ask.

He nods nervously.

"Yes." You say.

"Wh.. really..? I heard correctly right?" He asks.

"Kou..!" You laugh.

"I'm seriously still processing this.." he says.

You laugh at his adorable doofus face "I said yes! You're over thinking."

And with that he springs up and hugs you, making you both fall back onto the couch laughing excitedly. He takes your hand and slides a beautiful ring onto your finger with a look of over overwhelming joy. Not fully knowing what to do next, he places quick kisses all over your face happily.

"If we move in together then we could have movie night almost every night!" He states enthusiastically.

You give him a heart warming smile "I'd like that."

"God.. what miracle did I do to deserve you?" He asks.

"I could say the same about you!" You say.

"Hah.. I love you y/n." He tells you.

"I love you too Kou."
