Kou's POV:

Today's the day! Today's the day I confess my love to y/n l/n! It's Valentine's Day, the day of love, affection, and CHOCOLATE!!!!!!!

There's literally no better day to confess... wait.. what about her birthday? Or Christmas..? I'm thinking too hard.. TODAY!!!!!!! Even if she doesn't return my feelings, at least I can say I tried.

I've just gotten up, ready to start my day! I walk to my desk to check on the bouquet of f/f flowers and box of f/s I got for y/n. Then with a big smile, I start to get dressed for the day.

I wanna look extra nice today..! Don't wanna scare her off...

I go in front of mirror to tie my tie.

"Not neat enough.." I mumble, undoing it.

I try again.

"Still not nice enough."

After a few more try's, I finally get it the way I want it.

Suddenly, there's a knock on my bedroom door. I open it to revel a confused Teru.

"Kou.. what are you doing? It's four in the morning. Don't tell me you broke your clock again.." he mumbles, wiping his eyes.

"I know. I'm excited." I say.

He yawns, sleepy tears in his eyes "For what?"

"It's Valentine's Day." I remind him.

"Wha..? Oh... yeah." He sighs "Great.." I says, almost annoyed.

He turns to leave but then stops in his tracks.

"Kou.. if you're excited... doesn't that mean you have a special someone in mind..?" He asks, turning back around with a smirk.

I blush "Just get out Teru!!!" I say, pushing him out of the door frame.

"Okay! Okay! Don't bedazzle the bejesus outa yourself." I push him harder, but he only chuckles "You're pushy." He chuckles slightly "Wait.." as he starts to realize his unintentional and small pun, I close the door.

I roll my eyes and get back to getting ready for the day.

Seriously 'bedazzle?' It's not like I'm gunna make a unicorn throw up on me and pour a bucket of glitter over myself so I look and smell like a disco ball made out of chewed gum..

Time skip to school brought to y'alls by Teru's Sleepy Tears.

I strut into the building with confidence.

I'm gunna nail this!

I look around for y/n, and eventually I see her. She's just at her locker alone, organizing her books. I get ready to walk up and talk to her. My confidence is souring!!!

I'm almost there, but some kid steps in just before I can say anything.

"Hey y/n. Happy Valentine's Day!" 'Some kid' greats her.

"Hi! How are you today?" She asks politely.

Now the conversation is souring, with my confidence plummeting to the ground.

It's okay! I'll just have to talk to her some other time today. I turn and start to leave.

"Hey Kou! Happy Valentine's Day!" I hear a sweet voice greet me.

I slowly turn back around.

Y/n.

"Um.. hey y/n! Yeah, happy Valentine's Day! Um... I..! I wanted to.." I blabber out.
