Hydropaw shuffled in her moss bed, awaken at the voices and footsteps outside. The lighting told her that it was still night, but it had been quite a while after she fell asleep.

She flipped around in her den. I'm still in SaplingClan. "Swashpaw?" She felt the silver tabby apprentice look down at her without opening her eyes. "Why are they so loud?"

"Uh," Swashpaw stuttered somewhere near her, "they just came back from the gathering. The sun will be up soon. "

"Oh." Hydropaw stretched, rubbing her eyes, then realized something. "Oh?" There was a gathering? "Right... I forgot that tonight was a full moon."

"Greentwig is back." Swashpaw told her.

Suddenly awake, Hydropaw sat up. "Why didn't they take us?"
"You needed sleep."

Hydropaw couldn't argue with that. Sleep did make her feel better.

"Hi." Greentwig padded into the den, "I'm surprised you're up already." She said to Hydropaw.

Hydropaw shrugged. "It got kind of loud."

"By the way, Hollowstar demands you back at ValleyClan by tomorrow sunset." Greentwig explained.

"Why?" Though not too surprised, Hyropaw's chest still tightened nervously. "Didn't you and Rippledrop explain to him?"

"We did explain. He still wants a medicine cat back at camp." Greentwig then turned to Swashpaw, "how's Barkleg?"

At the mention, Hydropaw continued to pray that the piperias had worked.

"He was sleeping a few moments ago when I checked," Swashpaw mewed as she signaled towards the hollow, "but let's do it again."

They tiptoed across the den as they heard Barkleg's soft pur. "Hello there."

Hydropaw was glad to find the warrior's voice more energetic than before. "Did the piperia help?" She asked speedily. Please say it did.

"I think so." Barkleg shifted and started to give his chest a good lick. "I can breathe better now."

"That's great!" Hydropaw exclaimed, eyes shining with happiness. "I can't believe it's actually working." My herb worked!

"Nice job!" Greentwig mewed with appreciation.

"Should we give him some more?" Swashpaw asked beside her.

Greentwig gazed at Hydropaw, her eyes saying, you should make this decision.

Hydropaw purred contentedly. "I think we can feed him a little more? Like, one and a half stem of flowers?"

"Sounds good to me," Greentwig answered, "you know more about this disease than me."

The medicine cat's words made Hydropaw fill up with pride. "It needs a name." She decided.

"What needs a name?" Swashpaw meowed, confused.

"The disease," Hydropaw replied, thinking, "Fernleaf said it never got a name because it's too rare."

"Perhaps we can name it after some cat." Greentwig suggested.

"Good idea," Hydropaw agreed, "how about... Barkthroat? Since, it makes cats cough, and tree barks are naturally rough... Does that make sense?" She paused.

Barkleg coughed. "I think it's great. But weren't you going to name it after a medicine cat for curing the disease?" He stared at the Hydropaw, then a cough interrupted him again.
