I emptied the small potion into the array of bottles containing alcohol. Loki was distracting the barkeep.  I crept away from the bar and released my invisibility spell. Loki's green eyes flicked over to me. I waved the potion bottle and smirked. He finished his conversation with the barkeep and walked toward me.

I giggled. "Tony's going to lose his shit when all of his fancy party guests lose their hair." Loki chuckled and raised a flask. "Blackberry Asgardian mead to celebrate?" I took the flask from his cool hand and took a swig. The alcohol burned my throat. Warmth spread throughout my chest as I handed the flask back to Loki. Steve ambled over to talk to Loki so I slipped away to the snack table. I was probably underage by human standards and Steve frowned upon breaking laws unless he thought they were stupid. Alcohol consumption was probably under his category of 'not stupid'.

I took a bite out of a piece of fudge. It wasn't as good as it's elf made counterpart, but still delicious. Loki sashayed over and I shoved a piece of fudge into his mouth. His eyes lit up at the flavor. I giggled at his reaction. A song I didn't recognize started playing. Loki smirked and dragged me over to the dance floor.  Loki and I started dancing. I swayed my hips and arms to the beat.

"It's a hell of a feeling though! It's a hell of a feeling though!" The singer's voice boomed across the room. Golden brown liquid sloshed in Tony's cup as he sauntered over to where Loki and I were dancing. "I thought you would enjoy this song. You seemed like the pop punk type." Tony said. "I do like this song." I agreed. "Happy dancing Riendeer Games." Tony smirked and went to talk to an angry guest who's silver hair was rapidly falling out. Loki and I laughed as we saw our prank start to bloom.

I frowned as someone bumped into me. It was really crowded. Loki saw and slipped his hand into mine. We left the room and went up to the roof, where my garden was flourishing. Tourmaline was curled up around the apple tree. Wisps of smoke curled from her nostrils as she quietly snored.

I spread out on the dirt. Loki sat down next to me. I studied the night sky. You could barely see any of the stars.

"The stars are always so beautiful on Asgard. Sometimes I would watch them for hours." Loki said. I smiled softly. "They were beautiful in my village too. Sometimes I would climb a tree and it was almost like I could touch them." "Maybe someday I could take you. To see the Asgardian stars, I mean." Just as the words left Loki's mouth his face turned bright red underneath the lights of New York City. "I... I- mean, only if you want too." He spluttered out. I giggled. "I would love that." Loki smiled as I slipped my hand into his. "You know, the stars aren't nearly as beautiful as you." Loki winked at me. It was my turn for my face to burn red. "You're beautiful too." I blurted. Crimson dusted his cheeks. My eyes slid back up to the sky.

"I... think I'm going to change out of this dress. It's getting kind of chilly up here." It wasn't a complete lie. I excused myself and escaped back to my room. Questions swirled in my head. Did he really like me? Was his compliment sincere?

I dragged myself from my thoughts and focused on finding my favorites pair of black ripped jeans and sweater. I undid my hair and makeup and changed. I really needed to go out for a fly, but Tourmaline was asleep and recovering from an injury and I didn't have wings. At least not yet. I didn't even know if I would get wings or not. I paced my room before decided to go back up to the roof.

Tourmaline tackled me as I opened the door to the roof. Luckily she was the size of a small cat otherwise I definitely would fall down the stairs. Tourmaline hopped of my shoulders and grew to her natural size. Want to go for a fly? It seems like ages since I've stretched my wings. Tourmaline said. It was days and you got severely injured and need to rest. I reminded her. Tourmaline rolled her eyes. I'm fully recovered and that wasn't recreational. I caved and climbed onto her back. Loki was sitting underneath a tree reading a book. "Want to join us?" I asked. Loki vanished his book and lifted his pant leg. He pointed to the anklet that suppressed magic. "I can't leave the tower." Loki shrugged. Dark blue magic swirled around my hand and the anklet shattered. Loki's eyes widened in disbelief. "Won't we get in trouble?" "Didn't expect you to care, besides, there are repairing spells." Loki slid onto Tourmaline's back behind me. "I don't care, I just didn't expect you to break it. Besides, you hardly use you're magic." "Not true. I used it tonight." I pointed out. Loki rolled his eyes.

I placed his hands on my waist. "You might want to hold on." I suggested. Loki's hands tightened around my waist. I smiled and tucked a stray hair behind my ear.

Tourmaline spread her wings and leaped off Avengers Tower.
