[A/N: This is the first part of the Seven Crazy Friends series. This series is inspired by me and my friends who are all a little messed up in the head! This first part is short because it's sort of just an introduction to the characters. The next parts will be longer though. Enjoy!]
Beep! Beep! Beep!
Somewhere within a large house, an alarm clock rang annoyingly. It was loud enough to wake the entire house...and that's exactly what it did.
The first to wake up was Daniel, a shaggy haired teen who got annoyed rather easily. Reaching for his glasses, Daniel sat up in his bed, checking the time on his bedside clock. It was 7:30 am.
"What the hell...?" he mumbled. "Who's alarm is going off this early?"
He debated on just going back to sleep, but knew he wouldn't be able to until the beeping stopped. Grumbling to himself, he got out of bed and stretched.
Daniel's roommate was next to wake up. Her name was Lucina, or Lucy for short. She was a long haired, cute looking teen, Despite being a heavy sleeper, even she could not sleep through the constant beeping. Lucy grabbed her glasses and stumbled out of bed, yawning and stretching.
"What's that beeping?" she asked sleepily.
"It's someone's alarm, and they haven't woken up to it yet, apparently," said Daniel, fixing his pajamas which were just a T-shirt and comfy pants.
"Ah. That's pretty gay." said Lucy
Daniel walked out of the room, ready to interrogate the other residents of the house to see who's alarm was going off. Lucy decided to follow, as she had nothing better to do anyway.
The two went over to one of the closed doors next to their room. Daniel knocked loudly. "John! Is that your alarm?!" he called out. Some shuffling was heard and John, a slightly chubby blond guy, opened the door holding one of his six cats, Patches. "No, I don't have an alarm. But that beeping woke up Patches." said John, along with a noise from his cat.
Daniel sighed and went to the next room. It was pretty obvious that he planned on waking up the entire house just to shut off the alarm. He knocked on the door of the next bedroom. "Kyle! Jacob! Which one of you has that alarm?" yelled Daniel. The two boys soon opened the door. Kyle had short blond hair and was short. Jacob was taller and had long dirty blond hair.
"None of us has the alarm, dipshit. It woke both of us up." said Kyle.
Jacob rubbed his eyes. "Do any of you know who has the alarm? It's making my ears ring."
Just then, one of the other house residents came out of the last room. It was a brown skinned girl with glasses and puffy black hair. "What's with the beeping? I can't focus on my anime." she said.
"Oh hey, Alaina. Someone's alarm is going off and we're trying to figure out who's it is." said Lucy.
"Hmm...did you ask Gage yet?" asked Alaina.
Jacob shrugged. "He's probably still asleep, but we should ask him."
Daniel reached up to a rope hanging from the ceiling and pulled on it, opening a latch and sending down a set of stairs that lead to the attic. The group headed up the stairs and found Gage, the tallest of the group with short dirty blond hair, sleeping on his air mattress.
"Hey. Gage. Wake up." said John, poking Gage's cheek. Gage stirred a bit, but was still fast asleep.
Alaina walked over to him. "Don't worry, I got this." She leaned down and whispered in his ear. "We're out of pizza rolls."
Immediately, Gage shot awake and sat up. "What?! No pizza rolls?!" He then looked around. "Where's that beeping coming from?"
Daniel spoke up. "We don't know. We thought it was coming from up here."
"I don't use an alarm." replied Gage. "Besides, what's more important is that we're out of pizza rolls!"
Alaina chuckled a bit. "Uh, I actually only said that to wake you up."
Gage stared blankly for a few seconds before flopping back down on his mattress. "Well screw you all, I'm going back to sleep."
"Can you really sleep through this beeping?" asked Kyle.
No response. Gage had already fallen deep asleep again.
Daniel looked irritated. "Well none of us caused the alarm, so where's it coming from?"
"We should probably check outside." suggested Jacob.
The group nodded in agreement and went back down from the attic, leaving the sleeping Gage. They made their way downstairs and out the door to the front yard, where they stopped at the sight in front of them. There was a person dressed as Ronald McDonald holding a boombox over his head. The boombox seemed to be the source of the beeping sound.
The group was silent for a few seconds before Daniel broke the silence.
"What. The. Fuck."
John was next to speak. "That's...weird."
Alaina spoke as well. "I know! Who uses a boombox anymore?"
The Ronald McDonald cosplayer turned off the boombox and began speaking in a voice that sounded kind of similar to Mickey Mouse. "You guys didn't pay for your Big Macs yesterday!"
Lucy responded. "Yeah, because they weren't good."
Ronald tilted his head. "You guys won't pay?" He suddenly pulled out a baseball bat from seemingly nowhere. "Guess I'm gonna have to get violent!" He ran towards the group as they all split up and took off running. The next half hour was spent running away from Ronald and his bat. All in all, it was a rather eventful morning.
