Ruby and Shaggy were in the basement at Shaggy's place the night after school today. It was kinda rough. For Shaggy anyways. No one was smart enough to mess with Ruby since she was allowed to have Crescent Rose in order to defend herself and Shaggy had the need to use Crescent Rose popped up. Luckily, it didn't. Ruby didn't want to destroy the school. Shaggy was on a bed and Ruby was on the couch reading some comics.
"Philately is Phun? Phooey." Shaggy said as he tossed the Philately book to the side and turned off his bedside lamp
"I hope Scooby's doing ok....." Ruby thought
However, Scooby wasn't really ok. He was alone. By a graveyard. He gulped when he saw the sign that said CEMETARY.
"Rikes!!" Scooby said
Scooby's ears twitched as he looked around and felt the wind get stronger. He gulps when he sees a couple of graves shaking One marked 'Prudence Prufrock' and one marked 'Ezekial Gallows'. He from when lightning struck the two graves and real ghosts rose fro the ground. Actual real ghosts! One of his worst fears. Without question, he took off running but somehow got out of his collar. He quickly reached back, grabbed his collar, put it back on, and resumed running from the ghosts which seemed to be following him.
"Come Prudence, we must serve our new master." Ezekial's ghost said as him and Prudence flew off in to the night
Scooby didn't watch were he was going and broke through a fence leaving a hole shaped like himself, then he slipped through a window into Shaggy's basement and fell onto Ruby who had fallen asleep a few seconds ago. Scooby falling on her caused her to wake up.
"Scooby, where'd you come from?" Ruby asked
Scooby then ran up to the window, looked out it, pulled down the blind, then nailed it closed and drilled boards over it. The noise woke up Shaggy as Scooby hid under his blanet shaking.
"Like, what's wrong, buddy?" Shaggy asked
"Rghosts!!! Rghosts!!!!" Scooby said
"Roast?? What's so scary about a delicious roast?" Ruby said not fully understanding what Scooby said
"Rnot roast, ghost!!!" Scooby clarified
"Hey, hey, hey, like, it's ok, Scoob. You're with us now. Your to best friends in the whole world." Shaggy said as him and Ruby hugged the scared Great Dane
Scooby hugged the two back. Finally, he was with his friends again.
"Like, where's Yang?" Shaggy asked
"Rwith Tai" Scooby answered
"Is she okay?" Ruby asked
Scooby nodded.
