Title: First day and I wanna kms already

"Guess who's going to a public school? Me bitch! I hate the thought of it. It's a Thursday afternoon. I went to the school and filled in my papers yesterday then skipped the whole day. I got my hair braided a couple of days ago and I was nervous, I didn't wanna be alone, especially since I feel like an outsider and that I don't belong, but I guess I'll try not to be alone on my first day and find a group that I can vibe with." I closed the notebook and put it in the safe.

"Get down here, we're gonna be late." I hear my mum shout from downstairs. I roll my eyes and get downstairs, I wasn't ready yet. I just woke up. "Yes?" I said. She took a sip from her coffee.

"Say cheese!" She takes a photo of me looking like a hobo. "Mommy, what the hell is wrong with you?! I'm not even ready yet!" I complain annoyed. "Shut up and fix that attitude before I smack you." She warns me. "Yeah, yeah." I roll my eyes and go upstairs. "If you roll your eyes at me again I'm gonna pull them out of your head, wallahi." She threatens.

"What's gotten into her, the fuck?" I mumbled to myself.

One thing I like about public school is that I can wear whatever I want, compared to my old private school we had to wear uniforms and no jewelry or makeup were allowed.

I sent my daily streaks and then hopped in the back seat of my tesla.

Ameen, my driver, dropped me off at the school's parking lot, and let me tell you. I got stared at by everyone, everywhere. It was a small school so I guess everybody knew everybody. I got out of the car like Nene in that one video where she said "The ghetto."

I went into school and went straight to the principles office to wait for my tour guidance. "Good morning, Ms. Gates. Welcome to Los Angeles high school." Mr. Robinson took me to the counselor's office. "Get your class schedule from Mr. Clark." He opens the door for me smiling. "Thank you." I smiled and walked in.

"Hi, what's your name?" The counselor asked. "Chanel Skyler Gates. I want my class schedule, please. I'm a Sophomore." I said. "Okay, do you need a tour guide?" He asked as he typed away on his keyboard. "Yes, please." I smiled.

He opened a drawer and gave me a paper with my classes in it. "I emailed a teacher to get a student to help you." He smiled. "Thank you very much, sir." I said. "You're welcome. You may have a seat outside until the student comes." He said. "Alright."

After a minute this handsome boy walked up to the office and opened the door, staying out of the room. "I'm here." He said. "That's great. Can you help her with her directions, please?" Mr. Clark says. "Yup." The tall guy said, closing the door.
