Chapter 4 - Welcome to beacon

After bidding farewell and getting the Dark devil on the bullhead I put my headphones and my hood up so no one will interfere my mood.

And I was actually wearing Velvet's choice when picking clothes yesterday.
Velvet choice doesn't really have hood so I need to think of something so I'll end up getting hood.

Then I remember I have a thin hoodie. For now I'm heading early in Vale to roam around and to buy some dust and some weapon parts.

Leaning on the Dark Devil while I was looking outside of the window when i felt the ship tilt and I lost my balance, accidentally dropping my scroll, what the really?..

Rangel : Damn scroll, where did that go.

I said mumbling to my self while finding my scroll.

??? : Here.

I heard someone talk behind me, when I turn around a was met by lilac eyes. Not expect the sudden meeting, I immediately grab my scroll. As the bullhead finally land, and I immediately start my motor leaving the person behind.
Rangel : Erm... What the heck..

While I was dozing off, I notice a new dust shop. And I immediately stop infront of it parking Dark Devil at the side of the road.

Going inside I was welcome by the shopkeeper smiling at me. Lowering my hood and smiling back at him, I look at the crystal dusts that is being display.

Rangel : Can you gave me this crystal dust?.

I said to him handing my dust list and he nood taking my dust case. While I was waiting I point to a row where the weapon tools are.

Rangel : Can I look at the weapon tools while waiting?

He happy noods at me, and I made my way to the row and look at the different tool I do be needing.

It took time for me to finish buying my needs, I pay for the things I buy. And bid farewell to the shopkeeper who gave me a discounted price.

Suddenly my scroll buzz off and I immediately look at it earning a message from Ms.Goodwitch. Erm.. I'm dead do I? You don't really want to pissed a Goodwitch do you.

So I immediately put my things on Dark Devil and took off. Driving at a fast rate, and avoiding all vehicle that I pass. Not too long I reach Beacon Academy. Earning a pissed look on Professor Goodwitch face.

Rangel : I didn't take that long Miss.

I said looking at her in my relax expression, and saw Professor Ozpin walking toward us.

Ozpin : She's right Glynda, after all we still need to welcome our new students right?.

Professor Goodwitch gave me a look 'fine just this one' and she walk off leaving me and Ozpin.

Ozpin : Farren is right about you Rangel.

Ozpin : You really look like your mother.

Rangel : Erm.. Yeah, I think I really get her pure traits.

Ozpin : That's why he decided to enroll you here.

I just look at him and shrug, looking at the motor Farren gave me.

Ozpin : Well.. You didn't really want to miss the first gathering, do you?

He said to me and I follow him, suddenly bumping on his back turning to me.

Ozpin : Don't worry about your semblance I know you'll gain it not long.

And he start walking again while I still look at him rubbing my head. Well I think he's not lying about that.

10 minutes of walking we- well, I arrived in the Amphitheater there's so many new students. I should avoid this crowd before I can still do.

After finding a spot where noone around. I heard a sound of clearing their throat as I saw Ozpin standing on the stage.

Ozpin : I'll keep this brief.

Ozpin: You have traveled here today in search of knowledge. To hone your craft and acquire new skills.

Ozpin : And when you have to finished, you plan to dedicated your life to the protection of the people.

Ozpin : But I look amongst you and all I see is wasted energy in need of purpose, direction. You assume knowledge will free you of this but your time at this school will prove that knowledge can only carry you so far. It is up to you to take take the first step.

Glynda: You will gather in the ballroom tonight. Tomorrow your initiation begins. Be ready, you are dismissed!

He seems off.. Maybe I just imagining things. I went straight to the ballroom seeing almost half of the students is here. I'll better sleep on the tree. I gather my weapons and went outside of the ballroom heading to a near forest.

Walking deep on the forest I heard a low growl and I prepare my self expecting an attack. I don't have time to prepare Black jet so I grip my hold on Red Raven.

The growling is getting high and I can tell that it's preparing to attact in any minute. I slowly turn around earning a loud growls. Seeing two Beawolf and one Ursa, I unsheath my sword pointing at the Beawolfe infront of me.

Rangel : What a good sign of welcoming me here in Beacon.

I swing my sword at the side, earning an angry growl from the grimms. The beawolf immediately run towards me, jumping off the ground hitting the another beawolf with my bare foot, the beawolf stumble backwards as I get to a near tree and I land on it's branch.

I readied Black jet pointing to the Ursa that is roaring. And I immediately fires my bullet hitting it on it's head. But that didn't take long when another grimm jump on behind me. And I fall down hard hitting the ground.

Rangel : Damn..

I look at my side and I saw my Back jet far from me. I turn at my back immediately unsheathing my sword but I got taken down because of the grimm sway it claws from me so I drop my sword.

I turn my sword sheath to a gun and fires the grimm. I concentrate to my sword while I'm firing to the grimm. Not a second my sword is already on my hand and I swiftly sway my sword cutting the grimm's head.

I jump standing up, the beawolf run towards me when someone fires on the beawolf earning it's attention to the person who just fire.

I look to the person who just caught the grimm attention, as I silently gasp. And draw my attention to the beawolf and again concentrate as my sniper slowly turning back at me. Nice, really nice I this is my semblance? Ugh..  Must pay attention to the grimm.

I change my ammo to ice and immediately fire ice on it's way. After finishing all grimms, I was panting like crazy and after catching my breath I slowly look up to see a Raven.

Yang : Rang-

I stop her immediately.

Rangel : Stop, I don't need explanation or anything just.. Just leave me alone.

After saying those words I left her not looking around. I walk back to Beacon Academy, I was now in the Beacon Courtyard. Sitting on one of the bench.

Rangel : Tomorrow will be a long day.
