>GUNDHAM POV

I gallantly walked down the stairs like I had just won a gold medal. I guess you could say that... I roared a cackling laugh. As I was walking down the halls, I lifted my coat on to my body and wrapped my scarf around my coat's bushy neck.

"Come! Sun-D! Maga-G! Cham-P! Jum-P!" I yelled uproariously.

With that command, all of my little devils crawled up my body and into my scarf.

"Hajime!" I roared.

Hajime came running to my side immediately. He had already been prepared to be yelled at.

"Calm down, mortal Hajime. I ask that you father everyone and put together a... ball by tonight. Sonia requests everyone from the town to be invited."
"Right away!" He smiled, saluted me, and dashed down the stairs to the kitchen.

I walked to the kitchen and requested TeruTeru to fix up a meal for Sonia and myself. He quickly whipped up some French gourmet breakfast dish that I physically can't pronounce. I carried to dishes back up to my chamber and kicked open the door.

"Dearest Sonia-" I stopped in the middle of my sentence.

She wasn't there. I dropped the plates and searched the room. She wasn't there. I darted up the stairwell to the roof. She wasn't there. Where are you? Dark thoughts swarmed my mind. I have no way of forcing her to stay here anymore. If she leaves, that's her choice. I shoved my hands in my pockets while trying to keep in a sniffle or two. The place I love to go to when I'm down is the rose garden. It's so eccentric and beautiful that it makes your problems seem like nothing. I walked outside the front entrance and turned to see that Sonia was dancing in the garden. She was waving her arms around and twirling in circles. Her short, white dress looked like a rose itself with the way it spun around her. She was beautiful. She was GORGEOUS. She came to a stop, trying to regain her balance.

"Uh-" Sonia's voice drifted as she fell down into the bed of roses.
"Are you still breathing, my Dark Queen?"
"I'm fine." She giggled as her arms wrapped around my neck.

She yanked me down into the pool of white petals. We lay there, laughing. She turned to gaze at me which made my face darken with heart throb. I picked at my scarf while trying to think of what to say.

"So... I've arranged a special surprise tonight." I declared.
"What is it?" She asked, her eyes glowing.
"If I released that information, it wouldn't be a surprise. Wouldn't it?"
"I guess." She sighed in exasperation.
"Do not fret, Dark Queen. You will LOVE it."

>>THIRD POV

Gundham took off his normal scarf and put on his fancy scarf. It's pretty much just his normal scarf but it has fringed sides. The door bell rang and the sound of footsteps echoed throughout the creaky castle. Gundham walked to the middle stair case and laid his eyes upon the many people who gathered in the ballroom. He grinned. Sonia was still up in their bedroom. She was told to dress nice for the surprise. She was incredibly excited. Once she had finished getting dressed, Sonia danced down the hall to the stair case. What she saw shocked her.

"WHATS HAPPENING?" She screamed.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA my DEAR!"

She knew that laugh. Sonia looked through the crowd of happily dancing townsfolk. She began to cry. She was happy to an extremity. Sonia ran to the bottom of the staircase. Nekomaru was standing there with his arms wide open. Sonia jumped into his arms and was wrapped up like a present. She cried and cried and cried from happiness. The sight of the ballroom full of her friends and family dancing made her feel incredible comfort. She looked behind her and caught a glimpse of Gundham. He was leaning on the stair railing and smiling. He looked back to Sonia and turned away, blushing.

"Thank you for coming, Father." Sonia kissed her fathers cheek.
"ANYTHING for my princess, HAHAHAHA!" He roared.
"I've been looking for you everywh- Princess Sonia?" Ms. Owari spoke.
"Ms. Owari!" Sonia gave her a big hug.
"Actually, it's gonna be MissES soon." She said, showing the engagement ring.
"WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWHWHWWHWHWHWHWHWHW- WHO?"

Ms. Owari looked over to Nekomaru.

"Ohhhhhhhhhhh! I'm... happy for you guys. I'm so happy.." Sonia began crying again.
"Alright, Alright! Calm down. You're a queen now. No time for crying."
"Well, I'm not... actually..." Sonia wiped her tears away.
"Oh. Want me to kill him?" Ms. Owari began to roll up her dress sleeves.
"No! It's okay." Sonia stuttered, worried.
"You tell me if anything happens, alright? I'm gonna go rule the dance floor. Move it people!"

Ms. Owari began pushing people out of the way and disappear into the crowd of people. Nekomaru looked behind him.

"Go, Father."
"I LOVE YOU my dear, HAHAHAHA!" He chased after her.

Sonia turned to see Gundham standing behind her. He rested his head down on her shoulder.

"Shall we dance, my Dark Queen?"
"You read my mind."

Gundham twirled Sonia around and got into the rumba-box-step position. They began to dance the rumba-box-step because they are spicy(sorry🤤). Everyone moved out of the way. They looked into each other's eyes like there was no tomorrow. Gundham nodded to Ibuki, who was handling the music. She switched it to a slow dance song, which bored her. The slow dance song later turned into a heavy death metal song and Sonia began to bob her head like her neck was about to snap. She grabbed Gundham's hand and began to laugh. Gundham laughed in return to her strange taste.

"Noted." He said.
"Sorry I ruined the mood. It was too good." Sonia blushed from embarrassment, remembering they were surrounded by people.

Gundham chuckled as he kneeled down, still holding her hand. Gundham had prepared a big speech, but the only words that escaped were his last five.

"Will you, Sonia, marry me?" He looked at her with serious, expecting eyes.

Sonia didn't need a speech. She looked into his eyes and saw just how much happiness, anxiety, anticipation, and desire boiled inside him. She squeezed his hand tighter and looked to her father, who had been standing in the front of the crowd. He nodded, upset to give up his daughter but happy it was to Gundham.

"Yes!!"

Sonia's arms latched around Gundham as she began to cry. Again. She kissed him in front of everyone which obviously made him blush from embarrassment. He wasn't embarrassed from her, but it was so sudden that he wasn't prepared. They both laughed, smiled, and cried together. This was the second time Sonia has seen Gundham cry from emotions and not just literal pain. The first time when he had knocked over the case, and the second now. It's funny how you can cry from feeling quite opposite emotions. This time and forever, there would only be one emotion that made her cry. She promised herself and her family that. Mikan, TeruTeru, Fuyuhiko, Chiaki, Peko, Hajime, Ibuki, and Gundham were now her family: forever.
