I rested on my bed, looking out at the stars through the tiny window. It was beautiful. My mind flashed back to the scene at the ballroom. I almost kissed him. Am I in love with Gundham? I quickly tried to gather my thoughts, and that's when I heard the crash. Is sounded as though glass had shattered. Is Gundham okay? Is he having trouble again? Is he going to die without my blood? I stopped myself. I shouldn't be thinking about him. I changed into a night gown and took my hair out of my signature PONYTAIL. It feels good to let my hair breathe. I snuggled under the covers, but that's when I heard something slip under my door. I quickly lifted my head to see. A letter.

Dear Miss Sonia,

The "objects" of the house would like to inform you that the prince is going absolutely bat sh*t feral while waiting for you up on the roof. He awaits your presence. Also he's single and ready to mingle so go get him girl.

"Well they sure are something..." I whispered.

I stuffed the note in my sock and walked to the other wing of the castle, up the stairs, and to the balcony. Gundham was kneeling down, grasping his hand. He was breathing in separated, spastic breaths.

"Gundham..!"
"I'm...f..ine." He spat out.

I looked down to see the rose had lost a bunch of its petals during the fall after being knocked off of the pedestal. Gundham's was splitting blood everywhere. It wasn't safe for him to be losing this much blood, especially in his condition. I acted as a crutch and helped Gundham to sit up against the balcony rails. I asked Mikan to come and sweep up the glass shards. I sought her out and then began to help with Gundham's wounds. He looked like he was in deep pain, and something was telling me it wasn't just physical pain. He looked at me as though he was trying to think of
what to say.

"Why haven't you started running?" Gundham's breath could be seen in the cold night.
"Why would I run?" I murmured.
"I've locked you in. You could be free by now if you had run away while I am in this weakened state of being."
"I can't."
"Why not?"
"Because I-"

Just as I was about to finish, a loud BANG rang through the structure. The sound of yelling and smoke began to fill the air. I looked back at Gundham and his expression was no different than mine-confusion. I pat his chest in order to signal Stay here. I quietly ran down the stairs and peeked out, down the stairs. The main entrance was being broken down by a large crowd of people. All of the house items were gathering around as if they were ready to fight. Ibuki was burning a curtain that Peko was holding, ready to throw in of the crowd when they entered.

"What is happening, Peko? Ibuki? Hajime?" I panicked.
"Ibuki and others will handle this! Go upstairs and take master to roof where it is safe! We will stop them!" Ibuki had, for once, sounded scared.

I quickly ran back to the balcony and helped Gundham up. His coughing began to stop, but he was still obviously weak. I helped him make his way to the roof, following his directions. Once we had made it I laid him down behind a column-like structure where he wouldn't be seen.

"I'll be right back."
"Mo...Sonia. Don't go. It's not..." he wheezed our blood. "It's not safe."
"I can't let them find you. I can't... let you die." I put my hand on his cheek and slowly began to lean in, my eyes tearing up.

I placed my forehead to his. His gaze was sad and sick. He obviously couldn't last much longer. My eyes narrowed down on his lips as I inched forward, going for the kiss. Right as I was about to clasp mine with his, the door to the roof was smashed down. I turned my head quickly but before I knew it I was being pulled away from Gundham. Gundham grabbed my arm, but his muscles were too weak to fight back.
