>Sonia's POV

I caressed the binds of the books on the shelves. Horror novels have always been a fan favorite. By fan I mean my favorite. I'm the only one who ever uses this run down library now "a" days. I thoroughly enjoy the smell of a new book. The freshly inked pages that delect the smell of nature. Oh how I love nature.

"Why I'll be on my way now, Mrs. Koizumi." I announced.
"Please do come by at the same time tomorrow!" She yelled in reply.

I trotted out of the library where I was greeted by Mrs. Koizumi's significant other.

"Hey, Sonia. Could you possibly move it? I'm trying to get to my wife." Mrs. Saionji made a snarky remark.
"I'm terribly sorry! Do forgive me." I stumbled on my words and quickly sprinted away.

I ran down the dirt path, dogging everyone in my way. I often have to dress as a commoner in order for my identity to be secured. You see, being the princess is a rather hard lifestyle. Sometimes I wish I had never been born a royal. I guess that's why it's only a wish. As I was walking the path, I slammed face first into a man's hard chest. As I lifted my head my face churned to disgust.

"HEY! Watch where you're- Oh. If it isn't my Sonia." He murmured "seductively."
"Whatever Souda. Now if you don't mind I'd like to attend to my dedicated reading time. I heard there's a new article on the killings of Genocider Syo." I glared off to the side as I tried to walk around him.

He grabbed my arm and forced my gaze to himself. "Blah blah blah reading. Instead of being a boring literature person why don't you come with me to go eat. Join me for dinner, won't you?"
"Get off of me." I aggressively yanked my arm away and dusted off his grip marks. "I'll be going now. I'm late to my father's house." I brushed my hair behind my shoulder and marched away. What a nuisance.

He simply hammered his foot into the ground and stomped off into the opposite direction. Thank God.

I arrived at my father's house and shuffled the books between my arm and my side. I ran up to his room, but he was not there. I searched the house but he was nowhere to be found. I frantically ran to the backyard in hopes of at least finding out washer, Ms. Owari. She was super tough and ruthless. Although, once you got to know her, she was a sweetheart. She was like my mother.

"Ms. Owari?" My voice quavered when I turned the corner. I could hear distant whispers. I peeked over the hedges and saw her laughing with my father. They were both smiling from ear to ear, both a little red around the facial region.

"I smell someone... there." Ms. Owari pointed in my direction and darted toward me like a hound dog.
"Ah, I'm sorry for interrup-" before I could finish I had been wheezing on the ground with a brutal force toppling over me.
"Oh, Sonia darling! I'm so sorry." She had been smiling nervously and rubbing the back of her neck, embarrassed.
"It's quite alright! I'm sorry for spying." I spoke in small breaths, still trying to regain my balance. I lowered my voice and leaned into her ear. "What's going on between you two, huh?"
She blushed a little and sighed, "There may be something, but I'm not one to tell." She pushed herself back up and stuck her finger in her ear like she was trying to fish for things to say.
"I'll interrogate him later." I said as I looked at my father maniacally. Ms. Owari winked at me and ran back to continue cleaning the rags and clothes.
"HAHAHAHAH, WELCOME HOME MY DEAR!" My father broadcasted.
"Hello, father. May I ask what it is that we are having for dinner this evening?"
"WHY CERTAINLY! I plan to venture through the forest and pick up some of those mushrooms and veggies you have been wanting."
"Father you don't have to do so..."
"HAHAHA, fear NOT my sweet Sonia. I'd do ANYTHING for my little girl."
"I love you, Father" I said as he squeezed me to a pulp in his humongous mass of muscles.
"Well I'll be off on my way then. I SHALL RETURN, HAHAHA!" He laughed his way off into the distance with only a horse and an empty basket.
