''so I'm taking my princess away before y'all kill her" dads hoarse voice trailed along to the dining from where he sat watching the television after breakfast I, lolu and ara were still having breakfast

''yes dad I'm so going with you'' I smiled at aramide, she kept a straight face and lolu didn't even send me

In case you're wondering where we're going, today dads boss is throwing a party at his house to mark his birthday and dad asked that I go with him

I have to dress my best, you know one of those uncomfortable dresses I owned, dad's boss is no ordinary person.

Towards evening, I was dressed in a strapless red dress and black high heels and bag to match, I wore one of my numerous wigs and lined my lips with maroon matte lipstick..... Perfect, I smiled to my mirrow

"star we'd be late" mom called and I ran downstairs all eyes were on me just as I expected, and I was all smiles

"looking good" mom commented as i found my way down the rest of the stairs, I heard lolu say the same

"thank you" I clutched my bag coolly

We turned to leave, I mean I and mom cus dad was already waiting in the car.

"hey bitch" ara called and I turned to her smiling face, she took a picture of me. I blew a kiss and exited making my way to the car with mom

The drive was quiet with tiwa savages attention playing from the stereo, dad likes tiwa savage for reasons best known to him, I sha sang along I didn't even realise we had arrived his bosses mansion, I have never been here it's like my first time and my Jaws are already dropping at the view of the outside

I noticed the little fountain in the middle of the compound as we drove in through the gate, the heavy lit place with numerous cars parked and it was obvious that we were pretty late, however we stepped into the mansion, beautiful chandeliers and nice designs every single thing looked foreign.

There was soft jazz music.... How didn't I know that this wasn't a regular young people party

We found a table with one of dads Co director and his spouse.

"star.... Star..."

"yes" I regained myself quickly, I zoned out.

"he's asking you a question" mom frowned at me

"oh....im so sorry" I muttered

"so you're done with school?'' dad colleague asked

"yes sir" I faked a smile

I wasn't comfortable and it was obvious that the man wanted to keep asking questions.

"let's see my boss" dad stood up and I nodded thankful that I didn't have to answer pointless questions

We met dads boss, he looked like he was In his early fifties though he still had this physic that girls would die for.......star what's wrong with you

"This is my youngest daughter.... Star" dad introduction and I mumbled a good evening happy birthday sir to him

"oh..... She's all grown up, star have you met my son?"

"ermm no sir"

"Moe" he beckoned to someone, did I hear well? Moe? No it shouldn't be moe I met

My doubts were cleared, it was the Moe guy....the moe I met
....WTF.....

''this is Moe, moe meet star" dads boss introduced, Moe didn't even say hi neither did i....he didn't even act like he had met me or something.... The whole moment was awkward and then the next moment he left the circle and walked away..... Weird.... I watched his movements he was talking to some girl I didn't know, not like I knew Any one here anyway

"I'd be outside mom" I whispered to her and walked away to the open, warm air my skin had gotten used to the air conditioner in there

"elaborate boring party" I hissed strolling around

"heard that"

I turned quickly..... Moe

"what are you doing here?'' was what escaped my lips

"this is my house remember" he smirked uhhhh he stood still infront of me in his perfect three pieces suit

"but you followed me all the way here" I eyed him

"yeah" he admitted

"I actually thought I was the only one that found dad's party boring" he quickly changed the topic....i liked that but I didn't reply

" let's walk, he dragged me along"

"never thought I'd meet you again"

"same here"

"besides why did you have to follow me the other day when I asked you not to"i paused he did too

"and then you sent this very creepy message" I laughed at my foolishness he just kept staring at me

"you look more beautiful when you laugh" I stopped laughing immediately....oh he already thought I was beautiful now he thinks I'm more beautiful when I laughed

I muttered a thank you to him

"look up at the sky" he said and I did, the night sky was beautiful, the stars scattered  neatly in the night sky....he held my hand

"this stars are beautiful, but of them all, you're the prettiest" he held on to my hands, his grip was firm I smiled but.....ahhhhh moe Ma pami na, those lines were dry

"I know what you're trying to do, you're flirting with me and there's no way I'm falling for this" I told him with so Much attitude.... He let go of my hands

"you should be better than this star..... Not every guy that compliments you is trying to flirt with you"
I stared at him with mixed feelings, I shouldn't even be sorry

"besides" he laughed slightly
"you're not even my spec, and if at all I wanted to flirt with a girl, it can't be someone as weird as you are" he moved away from me taking backward steps

"you're not even my type of girl" he said and finally walked away, I wanted to melt, I wanted to dissolve, I wanted to disappear........i was insulted, I was humiliated by the stupid boy
Did I feel tears? Why did the whole stuff get to affect me that Much?

So who thought Moe was some serial killer or assassin?? 😂😂😂
Don't you think star was rather being too uptight??   Durrhh she isn't his type of girl
