Twenty-five🌟

I felt very safe as Moe held me closer, I didn't want him to let go so I wrapped my arms around him, he made me as comfortable as ever, patting my back slowly.

"he threatened you because of me?" I looked up at him, our faces not too far from each other
He looked down at me and shook his head, I could feel his warm breath, our gazes locked, for close to two minutes we were looking into each others eyes.

I drew my face closer to his, and before I could move any closer, he turned away, avoiding the kiss

"we need to find a way to drop you at home"
I nodded quickly and pulled away.

"what do you want star?" he sat upright

"how?" I asked confused, he didn't keep a steady expression, so I couldn't really tell where he was driving at

"you have two bestfriends, lusting after you, you're hurting us star, make a choice already, I wouldn't even blame Obbina for whatever he did yesterday" he told me, I was quietly watching his lips move as he talked.

"you know you're being selfish, you can't have the both of us to yourself star"

I was quiet still, he watched me for a while without saying a word

"Goddammit, say something star"

"this shouldn't be a topic now moe" I finally replied

"I don't want to hurt either of you, you, Obbina, y'all protect me, I get all the attention, and I'm afraid everything will change" I said slowly, I couldn't even look at him

"you said earlier that you wanted obi, nothing would change star, that y'all start something official doesn't mean I wouldn't love and protect you the same way....i made a promise to you star" he lifted my chin with his forefinger, making me look straight at him

"I don't know Moe, this is tough for me, this isn't what I should be thinking of, there's trouble ahead of us, I'm traumatized for now, especially with all I went through yesterday" tears slipped down through the corners of my eyes

"I know star, I know you're a strong woman, I know you'd pass, and I'm willing to step aside, so you wouldn't be confused, it's high time you settle down and do what's in your best interests" he sprang up quickly, picked his car keys and beckoned to me.

We were successfully down stairs and out of the house, we met with a few house maids that gave me soothing smiles as they passed, I wonder how they manage to keep those smiles plastered to their faces in a house like this...

We were in his red convertible, with full air-con and very loud you know who's music...post Malone!

"want to go somewhere?"

"Amanda's place" I replied coldly

"alright" he sped out of the road that led to his house

Through out the ride, we didn't talk, I kept reflecting on what he said earlier while he sang along to one of the tracks, he glanced at me sometimes and faced the road almost immediately, like he was mad at me.

"you prolly think that you are better now, better now,
you always say that cause I'm not around, not around,
you know I never meant to let you down, let you down,
would've gave you everything ,would've gave you everything..." he sang along, nodding as we breezed into Amanda's house.
