It was weekend and Lolu returned to school.... I hugged him so tight the day he left.... He told me how leaving without aramide was a pain, I cheered him up and kissed his cheek....see who is cheering him up... I wasn't okay or comfortable either.
"be good star" he patted my arm and then leaned to whisper to me
"to Patricia" I giggled after
"you be safe" I stood beside him.... I watched him drive out with Patricia, mom and dad beside me.

There wasn't a turn up that went past the ears of Amanda.... Not even one... They were aware of the house party already and had assembled in my house that evening....lara, Maya and Amanda
"it's being a while star... Free up jare" Amanda sat beside me pulling my cheeks....i pushed her hands away
"I'm not sure about this"
"you're never sure of anything you fool" Lara said from where she stood checking out my closet
"you have a lot of clothes you haven't worn" she remarked
"Uhmmm yeah....some are aramide's" I look back at her
"what am I even going tell my parents" I tugged at Amanda
"the usual story" Maya replied
"night vigil Shii.... Come on that's lame... They wouldn't even believe" I chewed on my nails
"okay.... Sleepover?" Amanda suggested and that was it....it was perfect so I nodded
"when would they free you sef abeg" Amanda fell with her back on the bed
"I'm their only daughter left...they can't help but worry" I sighed
Amanda was about to say something when Patricia walked in.... We all fell quiet.... She looked around and at each if us suspeciosly first
"why y'all quiet" she grinned, her accent stronger than usual.... You'd think she feigns it...
"we weren't talking before you came in" Maya eyed her
"uhhh Thats weird....but I think I have ears" she walked to Amanda
"cause I heard" she pointed to her, her voice deepened, Amanda looked terrified
Maya only hissed and I watched them
"we weren't talking" I finally said
"oh okay" she agreed then she walked to the door
"wait till I tell mom you're going for a house party" she smiled
"satan" Amanda said with clenched teeth
"indeed" Lara added
"what do you want?" I asked weakly.....patricia was alot of pain
"let me just go with y'all"
"please please please" she begged
